Welcome to the forums for Dishonored!

Since starting up in 1999, Arkane has been dedicated to crafting immersive first-person games. We create deep, interesting worlds, inviting players to explore. That’s what we'd like to achieve with Dishonored – our first project as a member of the Bethesda family.

What's important is sharing our passion for immersive simulations with our community, made up of gamers who crave this combination of visceral first-person action, world depth and game mechanics that enable creative problem solving.

We hope you enjoy Dishonored and we look forward to reading your comments. To get started, be sure to keep an eye on the cool stuff http://www.gameinformer.com/p/dishonored.aspx is putting up..

Enjoy!

Sounds very cool, also sounds like the Thief series which I loved.

Although I'm unsure on the setting, do we know yet? The magazine cover suggested something slight sci fi in nature.

Wow really interesting, the art makes me think of Hitman and Half-Life.

First Rage, then Prey 2 and now Dishonored, Bethesda is going to be the King of great and immersive FPS. Hope to see more soon.

One question: is the game being developed in Lyon, Austin or both? I just hope it's not a 2013 title.

We've seen the game running, and now we share Colantonio and Smith's vision too. Dishonored is the antithesis of a edge-of-your-seat roller-coaster ride. It's a game about assassination where you don't have to kill anyone. It's a game about infiltration where you can set up traps and slaughter the entire garrison of an aristocrat's mansion rather than sneak in. It's a game about brutal violence where you can slip in and out of a fortified barracks with nobody ever knowing you were there. It's a game about morality and player choice where the world you create is based on your actions, not navigating conversation trees.

I have never played any of Arkane's games, and from what I am seeing so far, I'm very excited to try something new! It looks like a mix between a Sci-Fi James Bond story and I can't wait to see more! It's good to see the Bethesda family growing and welcome Arkane! :)

"first-person stealth..."

Second best genre in the universe. And best genre is best because it includes first-person stealth genre in it too. :)

It's a game about morality and player choice where the world you create is based on your actions, not navigating conversation trees

[faints from utter joy]
