Werebears

Post » Tue Aug 25, 2009 9:35 pm

While we all know and love werewolves, it seems Skyrim has something even more bad ass in store for us; Werebears!

How cool is that? According to lore, they can be found in the province, so it seems only logical for Bethesda to include them. What are your expectations? Do you think they'll be enemies? or will we be lucky enough to even PLAY as them?

Hopefully we'll hear more about it in the coming months..I'm looking at you Bethesda! Spill the beans already!

Perfect Easter egg, a werebear wearing a green hat and tie, and a smaller werebear wearing a bow.

They should definitely be in the game, and preferably we can become one.

Think Bethesda's got something more bad ass in store for us than Werewolves, and you think that is Werebears...? The hell are Werebears anyways? Is there a "Were" for half of the animals yet or what is up with this? I personally would rather there be some Werefox or Kitsune-like race or something. :/

But about all, option to be able to choose some race that has a wolf-like appearance, or become a Werewolf or something, comes above all that other mess of stuff. You know, it bugs me...little attention really paid towards wolves, in Oblivion (at least for my console only experience of a TES game), they were just another enemy to kill.

To be honest I hate how into killing wolves some people are, does that have to be portrayed even in video games now? Let players play as a character with a strong wolf-like appearance, forget about Werebears... >.< Or if you must, then do both. >_>

You're right, we shouldn't kill wolves. We should kill Wolfaboo's instead. :chaos:

So much cooler than Werewolves. I want this.

Though it does say they were also in Northern Cyrodiil and we never saw them in Oblivion. So just because they are in Skyrim - it doesn't mean they'll be in the game.
But I seriously hope they are.

If I were a mod, I would not lock this thread, but delete it entirely... *facepalm* And no, a pack of wolves will outnumber a Werebear and ambush it.

Wolves would absolutely never attack a bear let alone a werebear, they would never risk it. Wolves have been known to get staved off by wolverines who are half of their size.

Jeez, someones taking things a bit seriously... you should ask a mod then, i'm sure they'll agree with you entirely; how dare anyone have a different preference from yours!

Just in case you didn't know by the way, neither of them exist, so this is a pretty silly little argument in the first place. Also, bears would probably find your tears delicious. Keep it up.
