They wouldn't be enemy NPC's if you become one of them.

True, but it still kinda bums me out. I never played Morrowind, so I didn't get to experience it then.

I can just imagine the look that would've been on my face when I saw my first werewolf haha... *Sigh* Damn my curiosity.
Same here,I played Morrowind but I never played it with the Bloodmoon expansion so I don't know how it was like.

Ohwell, atleast its not a storyline spoiler or finding out who's the final boss.

I feel bad that this was leaked...

Bethesda wanted to surprise us with this, now it's all in the open. I'm glad that I know now, but it svcks that I wont get to experience the surprise by playing the game.

Cant tell from what has been said so far...

I have seen the "proof" of confirmation and I was wondering... has anybody seen what they look like up close yet? Or is it just that silhouette.

From what I saw it looks like a more muscular version of Morrowinds werewolf (aka: awesome) but I was wondering if anybody got a better view.

if so can you describe what they look like? or is that not allowed?

I have seen them up close via a stream that was shut down earlier.

And no, I can't describe them on the forums.

Aww... well thanks anyways. Now I have 1 more question: someone point me to the nearest Cryo-Stasis Chamber.

You can discuss it but not Link to or copy the words out of a source.

Ontopic: If there are werewolves that you can become in the game, I guess my dark elf is going to have a fun murdering rampage ^_^

To be honest even the leak is quite a bit mysterious :P
I mean the picture is that of the silhouette of a talking animal, yes most certainly a werewolf but it still has me excited over that particular feature.

Werewolves have been confirmed by one of the members from Bethesda in a Interview that they will NOT be in the game. They were just rumors BUT they did say that Werewolves could be a primary thought/suggestion for future DLC for Skyrim. But as far as Werewolves being in the game as soon as the game releases, sadly no :(

It does show that dialogue has the possibility of being much more cinematic and dramatic in Skyrim. I like that.

unlike finally finding the king of worms in oblivion and he is just standing in the cave waiting with cheezy monologue for you.

So what do you guys think of what the werewolf is saying?

Spoiler
Player: "I've been told to kill you."

Werewolf (named "Sinding"?): "But if you spare me, I can be a powerful ally to you. And I would promise to never return to civilized life."

Well the proof that has been shown has proved that wrong.

Lol, not to be rude or anything but where have you been?

This isn't another thread talking about the possiblity... this is a thread talking about todays confirmation.

plus the "confirmed by one of the members of bethesda to not be in the game" is a common misconception.

that came from an unreliable foreign article that was disproven today, and bethesda never gave any comment on the situation.

Ummm... But there's pictures that proves that there are werewolves in the game. At least one, anyway, and it can reason with your character. Plus Hircine's ring.

I have a question about the mechanics. Will it be similar to the effects of the Gray Cowl from Oblivion, as in you're completely anonymous while in WW form? I don't think anyone has posted or speculated about it, but I sure hope that the mechanics work that way. It'd be very displeasing to go on a rampage in WW form and then switch back only to be hunted by an angry mob carrying pitchforks and torches... *shudders*

I'm guessing if someone sees you transform they know you are one and you must kill them, however if no one sees you, you are anonymous

Indeed, the world itself seems to be much more alive and immersive.

There are camping Khajiits around the roads in the wilderness. If you've played Fallout NV, imagine the road leading to the 'town' with a huge Ferris Wheel but in a medieval setting, some khajiits camp there :P
Easy prey for a werewolf. Assuming there aren't guards on patrol of course.

The guards will probably attack you on site, so you still have to be sneaky!

Well, I'm not sure if I'd do any thieving in wolf form... Is it even possible? But rather rob the whole town, then transform and murder the whole town... That's wassup!
