Damn, from that video footage it sounds like this "Circle" is a clan of werewolves... like Underworld. The Volkihar Vampires vs The Circle Werewolves??
Spoiler
Companion's Guild have werewolves and the people that he killed were members of the Silver Hand.
Joining the Companions to get to this quest. I would have loved it if it wasn't tied to any guild as my lycanthrope character is a mage. Hopefully, there is more than one way to catch Hircine's eye.
No, the ring has a specific power that affects the player.
"Additional Werewolf Transformation"
Werewolves ARE in and YOU can become one. The only downside is that it's all in third person. No first person werewolf view.
What do you mean it's all in third person, no first person werewolf view? You can't run around and see your hairy werewolf arms and claws like you can see your arms and weapons or spells when you're just normal?

Edit: I mean where's that part confirmed at?
Yup, it's like with horses. Only third person. I'm hoping a mod will fix that. Somebody played as one apparently.

Spoiler
There is another werewolf in the game, the one that's been shown against the red moon. The way he speaks, he might not be related at all to the Companions or Circle, and possibly he could give you lycanthropy.

I hopes so. Now to avoid the spoiler section. I feel so bad for Bethesda trying to do damage control over something that wasn't suppose to grace our eyes .
Where did you see this? That makes no sense, there has to be a first person. Why wouldn't there be?
The same person that gave us the information about how to get to the werewolf in the screenshot said that. As for the reason I have no idea. There's not really any reason not to have a first person view when riding a horse either yet Bethesda decided not to include one.
Is this proof of someone playing as a werewolf in 3rd person view?

Hm. Is that picture actually from Skyrim? I don't see the rest of the display, like the compass or stamina bar or any of that. I wouldn't be able to say one way or the other that that's a 3rd person view of the player in werewolf form.

It's part of the same series of pictures. It looks like the werewolf in that video posted before.

I don't think it's enough to prove that it's the player character in 3rd person werewolf form... It could be that the player is looking down on an npc in werewolf form. It's hard to tell from that image.
Are you [censored] kidding me? Why is there no first-person!?
They probably didn't like the way the hunched over point of view and claw attacks looked in first person, maybe it will be patched in later once they get it to a level they feel does werewolves justice
