What about health?

Also, I like the idea of having health regen just for easy mode.

If you're going to add automatic health regeneration then I still suggest putting it as an option. When the player clicks the easy mode a question would pop up asking:"You've chosen the Easy difficulty level. Do you wish to have automatic health regeneration?"

And that option shouldn't be limited to Easy only. I liked that you could change the difficulty setting while in-game in Human Revolution (I also like how I am using HR as my example all the time). That's a good idea for many games to have including options like health regen.

EDIT: But I am just nit picking. It isn't going to ruin my experience and if I was so stuck up that I wouldn't play a game mode because it had health regen I still found a solution. Play it in full stealth. So all is good with the world. I just feel they could have thought this through.

I don't really get your fixation on wanting to play on easy. Easy mode is for new players to this genre (and there will be a lot of them). That is the "turn off health regen" option.

That is true and to those people who only play on Easy know that Normal isn't all that scary. It's actually quite fun. I play all difficulties because I like seeing how well designed they are. And I also play through every game 5 times at average so it's really not a problem shifting through difficulty settings. I am just weird like that.

Actually it would translate as "Vitality level 1 gives you an extended health bar".
Thanks!

For my two cents. I think it has a lot to do with how combat works. In some games, taking damage from a fight is basically a given. For example in TES oblivion or skyrim anytime you get in a fight your going to take some damage. It doesn't matter if you block every attack with perfect timing the damage will soak through. Other games are more skill based and only damage you when you muck things up

Hipster me knows that health regen is too mainstream.

But really, just give us other ways to regen our health, not just let it auto-regen overtime.

Than that means the combat is badly design and doesn't scale with a player's skill.

Can anyone guide me to a good translation program where it knows the diacritical marks that appear in some words in the article? I'm copying the article into a translation program at the moment, but the opening paragraph was unfortunately mangled. I can reconstruct it to a degree but meaning will invariably be lost. This is what came out of my paltry transposing, and only one word autocorrected with the appropriate diacritical mark as well as being unaltered.

"Finally! Finally, it was possible to take in hand this exceptional adventure has the first person who seems to be part of one of the shocks of the gaming year! Here is doc not first impressions lined with additional info on the gameplay..."

I'll be using this program in the interim for lack of both any linguistic talents of my own and a desire for information irrespective of the (currently) unavoidable choppiness.

Edit reason: The last sentence needed to be fleshed out.
