What armour are you most looking forward to? What one do you

Well I am looking forward to Miraaks armour and the bonemold one. The dragonbone heavy armour and ebony is ugly. It would be cool if they redesigned the sets.

For now I guess I'm looking forward to Miraak's gear. Hard to judge any of the other potentially new armour in the trailer.
My least favourite in vanilla is probably ebony. It doesn't need a total redesign or anything though, its just that helmet that messes things up.

I'm not looking forward to any new armors. Hopefully there'll be something that's not totally horrible.

After seeing all they have to offer in skyrim I have to say the hide and fur armors are the best in show. I kind of like the thieves guild and steel plate but it ends there.

I think the main issue I have with the high end stuff is that it doesn't fit in with the style of the game. Maybe if there were fur trimming on the man made stuff and the daedric wasn't sprouting sharp pointy things in every direction they'd be more attractive to me. I have never liked the bulky dwemer stuff so that doesn't count.

A heavy armor without fugly boobplates wouldn't hurt.

Well, I've heard netch leather is coming back, & that bodes well.
I would wear netch, or boiled netch to the end of the game in Morrowind, just because I like the way it looked.
So, here's hoping it looks similar.

I always disliked the Ebony(helmet) and the elven set, it just doesn't fit any of my characters, love the elven weapons though.

Looking forward to the bulky looking fur armour, looks like a good option for the nordic hunting types. The picture of the asymmetrical cloth type amour with plates down one arm could be awesome, depending on the front :P

Not a fan of the ebony helmet either, kind of wish the Ebony set had a more gothic design and the helmet had a sculpted face visor. The default ebony helmet makes me think of a strange motor cycle helmet and it feels like it shrinks your head imo. Wolf armour takes the prize for worst default armour though for me, excluding the gauntlets.

The armor's horrible... It's got that "black knight" feel to it. Nothing real special. But I'm on the other end when it comes to the ebony sword... If anything They're the shape that Elven swords SHOULD have been. Perhaps the two should switch.

The armor with the metal bear helmet. I already love the stormcloak officer armor, so this armor looks great to me. I also want the other DB's armor, but I am afraid they are going to be clothing, and I don't like alteration builds.

Wanted, Royal Gaurd Armor, Nordic Chain, Bonemold, Stahlrim, Her Hands, Ordinator, Morrowind Daedric (for the console players)...
Hated, anything that requires a Smithing Skill higher than 50 to make, with the exception of Dragonscale.

Does anyone know what that neon-colored armor is? It seemed almost neon to me but it had many colors, like blue, orange but they were in a swirling fashion. What's that armor called? It looked pretty sixy

People are saying it could be anything from 'spectral dragon armor to summoned armor.'

There are a lot of armors I don't care much for. Glass, dwarven, ebony, the ancient Falmer armor that lacks a helmet... I actually prefer the looks of the regular iron and steel armors. By the way, what happened to chainmail?

One thing I've wondered. Many of the armors have obvious ties with some race/culture, such as the elven and orcish armors. But who was it who made the glass and ebony armors? Glass looks sort of elven, so maybe the elves made it. But ebony looks so different compared to everything else.

Not looking forward to any of them. Only modders are capable of making good armors. I hope Bethesda for once manages to prove me wrong.

Dislike in vanilla: Glass. Glass was one of my favorites in Morrowind. But glass armor in vanilla looks too "fat"/robust and not "glassy" enough.

Ebony has always had that black knight feel to it, and that's why it's awesome! Don't get me wrong, I love how TES has the races influence the design of their armor, but Ebony is as close as TES gets to knightly armor. And if my name doesn't betray me, I have a thing for knights. The steel plate comes close, but it's just so... bland. The black ebony armor with the soft gold trim ... I just don't understand how someone could hate it. It's everything high end knight armor should be, and it comes in any color you want! ... as long as it's black. And then the Ebony mail!

The swords however look off to me, like its center of balance would render the thing ineffective as a weapon.

The ebony sword looks like a over sized katana.

Wear the full ebony set. Pay particular attention to the neck region. If you can't understand why people hate Ebony armour after doing this, you're probably not going to ever. :P

I wondered that aswell. Chainmail seems like it would really fit into Skyrims setting too. More so than Oblivion anyway.
