So what is everyone doing to prepare for dragonborn?

Well, there's always the oghma infinium. If you want legit tips, you can PM me with specific info on your character, and I'll help you out.
Will do. What info you need? She is basically maxed out in heavy armor, smithing, 1 handed combat and blocking.

Well, since I've already done lots of stuff on my main, and am now just messing around with various mods, I'm going to 200 years ago Solstheim, and I'm going to do the Raven Rock quests.

Mainly what level you're going for, and what skills can you still improve on. Ones that are not maxed. Then I'll send you tips and tricks of the trade. I might just send you tips on all that I can think of, actually.

I picked up Konahrik, and I'm chilling like a baller in my Windhelm house. I'm using that house literally for the sole purpose of waiting for the DLC.

Killing guards, pillaging towns, you know... the usual. I'll make sure no one on Skyrim stands alive when i leave to Solstheim.

Basically I would do what I wanted to do with my first character but didn't because Dawnguard didn't appeal to me with the price tag it had. Anyways what I or my character Magnus would do is get a Daedric Armor set, and defeat Alduin. Once I defeat Alduin I put the armor set on a manakin and the dual wield swords I had in a display case and I would never use them again until another threat to Skyrim arose. What I would then do is buy a regular armor set like steel armor and just wander around Skyrim doing side quests and caring for my family, just waiting for a threat to arise. So once word comes of this other dragonborn I will dust off the daedric armor and head to Solstheim.

Haha, I love that. Treasure armor for special occassions. I  Daedric armor.

Making a pure shout character w/ unarmed only. Also I had to get Konahrik to complete the look I'm trying to achieve.

It's like a sacred armor to me or something so I lock it away so I can have a normal life after I defeat Alduin, kind of like Batman after the Dark Knight.... sort of

Starting a new character meant for Dragonborn. Starting as a Nord Warrior, with a basic 1H-Shield combo. Gonna go with Heavy Armor all the way, and gonna try to hit up everything that I can while leveling.

I plan to wait and start a new character after Dragonborn is installed. Ideally I'd prefer to stumble upon the new content naturally, in the course of a complete playthrough, with no idea how to start the Dragonborn quests.

Leveling a new character. But mostly focusing on reading for my exams IRL so when it does come out I can play it without flushing my future down the toilet.

I'm planning on making a new Imperial character. One-Handed, Shield & Heavy-Armor type in preparation for Dragonborn. Planning on getting him to around level 12. Wouldn't want to be too powerful going into Solstheim. Might not finish the Main Quest, but I'll get a good bit into it.

Bringing a lot of potions, bringing my fortify smithing and enchanting potions and gear with me so I can improve the gear I find on the island. I have a feeling that the creatures will be hard to fight, so I'm bringing a ton of restore health potions just in case.

I plan on making a Dunmer necromage, I've been looking to make a new character for a while now but got caught up in other games, and work. Besides those, I;ve been planning this mage for quite some time, as it will be the first mage I created that won't be relying on enchantments and only use raw power and shouts, so it should be fun! I'm hoping DB also enhances magic as well.

That being said, I'm going to try my best to play this character out as best as I can, but I don't think I'll be able to play DB once its released. I finally get two weeks of leave and get deployed to my gaining base a day before it comes out, and so my priorities shift, and when I get there I'll be busy with my mission more than anything, 'cept of course on weekends but I'll probably be struggling to get through it. Such is what I signed up for.
