YES! Crazy bones were the absolute best in elementary school. I think I still have a little tin lunchbox full of them somewhere.... :)

I remember, WWJD bracelets, bleached spiked hair with the tips died a different color, and backwards upside down visors. That stuff was so stupid looking. I thought it looked cool back then though, lol.

Edit: I REMEMBER CRAZY BONES!

Not an old fad but somehting reminded me of a new fad I absolutely hate, when people (Mostly people into the rap scene) leave the tags and stickers on their clothes, I hate this it looks so stupid.

I just remembered a time in the eighties, thankfully short-lived, when certain girls would wear one knee length sock, and one over knee sock. You can't even use 'got dressed in the dark' as an excuse for that one.

Breakdancing.... 80's cool, 90's lame, 2000's even cooler than in the 80's. Wha???? (only this time without the parachute pants with 200 zippers on them)

I remember when I started going down the pub in the mid '80s, there was this old geezer there (I mean really stereotypically old too, he'd dress in a trench coat and trilby, that sort of style) who was pretty uptight... until he got a few drinks inside him at which point he'd start breakdancing. Badly, but it was entertaining!

I had a http://www.tees4me.co.uk/tshirt-shop/-2/ T-shirt at one time. Yeah. :shakehead:

It was "say": I remember that trivial detail because I spent ages wondering why there was no "s" on the end (I worry far too much over utterly unimportant stuff like that) until I realised that "Frankie" was referring to the band collectively. Funny the random crap I can remember when I never seem to recall important stuff like "I need to go to a doctor's appointment today and not spend the whole day arsing about on the computer" as I did last week.

Lost them all within 2 days <_<

I'm the same, I have them sitting under my bed in a http://kimpanzarella.com/store/images/sisal_soap_saver.jpg which is inside a box. Must be over 200 of them in there.

Earth Shoes...they kinda had the heels in the front...all the freaky gurls in Ann Arbor wore them back in the day...and they sewed big paisley patches (and other materials) on the seat of their bell bottoms...and had hairy underarms and stuff.
I think they probably smelled like spices and incense too...one would hope.

But yeah...Earth Shoes...(guys wore them too come to think of it).

Pogs are what exactly?
My primary 1 class had a puppet called Pog, it would eat all the alphabet characters if we didn't remember the alphabet or didn't write it down :P

Those black choker necklace/bracelet/ring things. Came in other colors as well, but black was most popular.
Mood rings
beanie babies (Still have all of mine)
pogo sticks
furby
GoGo's Crazy Bones (used to play "Attack!". It was quite painful!)
Pokemon cards (still have all of mine)
yugioh cards (ditto)
Tamagotchi
Roller Skates
lava lamps
Beyblades

Then there were those shoes that light up when you step. I had Power Ranger ones, because I was a boss.

I had bright white ones with pink lights. They were awesome.

Tamagotchi

This was a real fad at my school. Eventually they were banned because they kept beeping in class. My mum took mine to work with her to look after it
peddle pushers,

I had a denim pair of these! I really thought I was the business. I wore them until the knees and bum had worn out.

beanie babies (Still have all of mine)

Some of my friends were obsessed with these. I only ever bought one or two, but I remember my friends having hundreds of the things.

Other fads:
-Pokemon cards (I think every school had these)
-Yo-yos
-Top Trump cards. These became popular right before I moved to secondary school. I still have my buffy the vampire slayer pack.
-These round pieces of elastic that went around two people's knees, then you would jump in and out of them. The elastic got higher and higher until you couldn't jump without touching it. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_JNJzt1B8AtE/Ss3tst5p5bI/AAAAAAAACdE/VTH6yYq-tDU/s400/10Village.jpg
-I remember quite a few years where every single boy in the class would turn up to the school disco in http://www.sh-boomm.com.au/images/Flame%20shirt%20purple.jpg

A high school fad was rubber bracelets.

Oh. god. They're loads more expensive, because they are not just jeans, they're, you know, 'designer'.
Remember the Izod shirt fad? I seem to recall that pink Izod shirts were really "in" for a while, at least in my area. Both gals & guys. It was a sea of pink shirted, designer jeans kiddies.
And of course, later, the Miami-Vice pastel, casual jacket+tshirt fashion fad.

Being obsessed with little kids shows seems to be a fad based on backpacks I see
Another thing would be dressing in a bunch of Super Hero stuff
Skateboarding
Playing COD
Wearing the 3D glasses from movie theaters with the lenses taken out
Being a "nerd"
Skinny Jeans
Acting like you're from the "ghetto"
I'm sure I can think of more, a lot of the things the people I see at school do are so moronic.

Nu-Metal, I loved that style, but it died so quickly. Same with the late 90s Swing Craze.
