The very first video with Sawyer, the sniper companion (Boone?) shot a dogs head off.

Did? Aww... Then I want a different percentage for sniping it off and a splode when using smaller weapons.

I do hope the gore is fixed big time on some of the animals. Like how I shoot a dog in the body and two off its legs pop off like legos. But all in all probably the Thompson and maybe the Winchester.

Since it's actually a gun now, I'd have to say the Minigun. The mods seem like they're going to make it a lot better too. I'm still hoping for a Tommy Gun. They were in New Reno, so hopefully there are some in New Vegas. Energy Weapons are still my favorite but I'm looking forward to the guns too.

They better have a regular dog as a companion and not pull something like you get a reptillian dog instead, but if you can get both that'd be awesome!

I just read on gamingshogun that there's going to be an M60. This game is just getting better and better every day.

Sounds awesome, but also bull. More likely they saw the LMG in the vids and assumed that it was an m60, a bit like how journalists assume all rifles not used by Marines are AKs.

All the new rifles and shotguns, they seem to have gone alot into these categories. I also am one of the ones who cant wait to modifie their hunting rifle. Scope, custombolt, and maybe a silencer. Also I hope the assault rifle comes back too. And poison (maniacal laughter)!

Also I know some people are gonna hate me for saying this but I hope there are bows and crossbows.

Melee: Blade Gauntlet, Combat Knife

Explosives: C4, Frag Mines

Bows and crossbows would be realistic weapons since bows can be made with basic materials, crossbows too with more mechanic parts. Both would be great stealth weapons and maybee we could find some very high-tech versions of those.

Actually they were describing an encounter with some merchant lady. They said that she had plasma weapons and an M60 among other things.

I'm glad they put .22s in the game, .22 rifle and pistol for me! Also spears, and DIY weapons. I like underrated weapons and equip. Thats why I'm siding with the Legion.

As for the Virgin Mary Pistol, keep that crap away from me. Now maybe a pistol with a 50's pin up girl on the grip would be fun (and classy). Plus I'm not sure how good carrying a religulous pistol and crucifying someone (NCR Officers) would look.
