what gun are you looking forward too most in NV : Fallout: New Vegas

personaly i cant wait for a scoped hunting rifle with a custom barrel and extended mags. If they change the hunting rifle too much i will be ragin it was like my favorite gun in fallout 3. As for a gun i want too see it has to be a gas grenade that either K.O's the enemy or kills them stone dead lol

I'm just looking forward to the Laser Rifle now. So many possibilities. I'm hoping for a full auto mod so I can have a laser version of the Perforator (scope and more powerful focusing array confirmed). I wonder if you can mod unique versions... <_<

All the new rifles and shotguns, they seem to have gone alot into these categories. I also am one of the ones who cant wait to modifie their hunting rifle. Scope, custombolt, and maybe a silencer. Also I hope the assault rifle comes back too. And poison (maniacal laughter)!

Also I know some people are gonna hate me for saying this but I hope there are bows and crossbows.

Melee: Blade Gauntlet, Combat Knife

Explosives: C4, Frag Mines

I hope the Repeater, Lever-Action, Backwater type rifles make a showing. But if not, and the Hunting Rifle is definitely present and correct I'll be happy. ^_^

Looking forward to the caravn shotgun, hopefully there'll be a sawn of variety of a side by side double barrel for a Mad Max character playthrough.
I also want to do a stealth build at least once. Instead of going for silenced firearms I may try using throwing spears and the bladed gauntlet, very Predator-esque.

The one I long for the most has got to be the C4 and the Plasma Caster.
C4 because of the fun stuff I can do and plasma caster because it's the old plasma rifle.

The moment I saw the Bladed Gauntlet I knew that I must be Predator. All you need is some Stealthboys (since I doubt the Chinese Stealth Suit will be returning) and a plasma weapon hotkeyed to complete it all. Didn't think about the The Throwing Spears though until you mentioned it. Thanks. Laser Rifle is still probably my favorite though. Can't wait to see what the unique version is. I hope it's not covered in stupid designs because that would just svck. Maybe it'll be a prototype that functions like an alien weapon and fires blue. It could have 100% critical or something. I would love to see that.

M16 hands down. One of my favorite guns in the history of history. Though the wood looks a little weird.. no matter. It still looks sixy!

Anti Material Rifle and any other .50 cal weapon. It would not make sense for there only to be one .50 cal weapon. After all the Devs say there will be twice as many weapons then Fallout 3.

Also the single shot grenade launcher.
