No they won't. A TES fan either plays it or they don't. By not playing it you're not 'boycotting' it. And, for every digruntled single play TES fan there's a dozen MMO fans who don't give a hoot about where it's coming from.
Your statement makes it sound like you're unfamiliar with the current MMO market. The majority of players are already completely sick of wow clones, which is why every single wow clone fails to make a splash. Most players leave wow to get away from it, not to go play an inferior wow with a new skin. The three big names in the MMO market right now, Guild wars 2, Tera, and Secret World, are all very different from wow and offering many new and unique innovations to the genre. These will be big games when they release later this year.
This game is going to release AFTER those games. If you think players aren't receptive now, just wait until next year when they have free-to-play new and innovative mmos that don't blatantly copy wow. Instead of trying to create something innovative, Zenimax took the cheap and easy way out, and both TES fans and MMO players recognize that and are rightfully angry. The enormous limitations with the engine they are using (Hero Engine) has already been seen in action as well - it's what led to SWTOR failing.
If you've followed the MMO market, you'd see this game is already moving in the wrong direction on nearly all fronts, and the current outpouring of negativity will only be magnified as this news spreads through the MMO crowd, you'll see.
