I'm confused by people's answers. More than half of the replies are about things one could easily learn if they put in a few months, or maybe years, of half-hearted effort. What's stopping you?

Time constraints and space. I'd like to learn the piano but there is no space in my room for a piano or a musical keyboard and I can't move into another place yet so that I would have space. Also other things you wish to learn and do tend to come first, if I have time off to be learning anything then it's probably going to be the rules of whatever game me and my friends are getting into (I tend to be the guy who learns the rules in details and then shares them with the rest of the group) before learning some one skill I'd like to know.

Physics. That's something I will never learn nor understand. Biology I am most fascinated about but I'm currently studying it with little problems.

And by Physics I mean the stuff Stephen Hawking works with.

which will also expand or contract space around you as well :)

This is my goal with omnipotence, to rewind time around me and thus contract space so that my gut finally diminishes :goodjob:

Fragile universe is just lucky my Papaweb malfunctioned, in a way that makes the hadron collider look like a sad puppy, so bad that it managed to mirror our own original universe and accidently saved us all!

Why did you even play with it in the first place when the sign said "No distrupting the groove baby"?

German

This. I took several years of it but just didn't retain any of it.

Oh, and I'd also like to shoot fire out of my eyes.

Right now I'm kinda curious about dancing :bunny: not anything specific, just general. 'Course I know someone who can help me with that.

I take it back, stunt driving is what I'd most like to learn.

Dancing is something that comes naturally to me. I guess it's because I started dancing with a school when I was a little girl. I did it for 9 or 10 years, and then quit, but I've still got the rhythm. Just close your eyes and feel the beat next time a song comes on that you like. You might surprise yourself. :bunny:

Stunt driving sounds good as well though.

I have had an 88-key MIDI keyboard filling half my bedroom for the last eight months or so... still haven't learned how to play it, apart from a few chords. So I'm gonna go with piano.

Every once in a while I do a vanity search on my username to see all the gossip about me, and this came up, so why not reply to it?

Grab a piece of paper and a pencil or pen, and get to it. :stare: Really, it's pretty much that easy, just look at what you want to draw and practise, I think Stormrider says something similar quite often in the artists thread.
Yep, that's what I say. Wishing you could do something gets you exactly nowhere. Without trying to be too pompous, I sometimes get people saying, "man I wish I could draw like you". My answer is always, "Don't wish! Wishing doesn't make anything happen! You need to sit down, grab a paper and pencil and start drawing! No matter how much talent you have, advice you get, expensive tools you buy, mommy-pats-on-the-back you get, you will NEVER be a decent artist if you don't practice, practice, practice. It's extremely important that you love what you do, even if you start out absolutely worthless (we all did).

I think the key to being a good artist is not having the ambition to be a decent artist, it's having the acceptance that you're a worthless artist, but loving it nonetheless.

I want to learn a tough guy Russian accent, I could try and teach myself, but I feel that when I try it, I would embarrass my self too much.

Do you think some people just have no ability for it though? I always had problems with perspective which really limited my drawing ability - do you think that's the sort of thing you can learn or do you just think I'd always be a terrible artist?

I'd like to get formal training in fencing/swordplay.

Not only would it be a fun way to excercise, you can also use it to get stunt double parts in movies and survive zombie apocalpyses.
