What's one pony you'd like to learn?

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 6:04 pm

So if you were given the ability one skill, activity, field of study, whatever, what would it be?

For me, it'd probably chess. I like watching people play, but I've never quite gotten the swing of it myself. :shakehead:

Mine would sound too pathetic. :sadvaultboy: :frog: So I'll put my second-most desired thing... how to draw, in all sorts of media. It would take decades to learn all of the different techniques and tools IRL and IRT.

Why did the chicken really cross the road, on that tragic day.

No idea.

Japanese would be useful (VNs and if I ever visited Japan)
Guitar seems like it could be fun.

I would rather learn something more practical though.

I can teach you - just PM me your bank account details, your credit card PIN, and your mother's maiden name. Also your birthplace and favourite pet, just to be safe.

Music production. I've fiddled around in FL Studio and Ableton but I'm trying to learn modelling and other game engines too and it's all too much to take in.

But if you can teach it, then you are.. and if you are, then you know, and I shouldn't have to tell you..

I'd love to learn how women think. I've given up on it for now, but I'll be back just after hell freezes over.

not even close :P

If Omnipotence is outside the realm of casual learning, then I'd like to learn more about motorcycle electrical wiring. -I have most of the mechanics down to where I'm not afraid to pull something apart... but as soon as the electrical harness needs fiddling, my head implodes

I'm actually with you OP. I love chess, love watching people play, reading about it, playing myself, reading strats and lines, variations and such, but, of course, that's like watching sports on TV and playing in your backyard. I'd like to really learn how to do it well.
