What's the first thing you're going to do with the Creation

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 4:42 pm

Raise the price of every item and lower the sell price of all items ( you make money waaaay too fast in skyrim same with oblivion. )
I'm also gunna make it so that certain creatures are stronger and more frightening. ( like the frost troll, give it like twice the resistance to dmg it has)
And if i can figure out how, make a plethora of new spells to learn. ( no modding skills so I wont hold my own breath for my success)

I think a nice portable tent to start then a (basic) basic needs mod then maybe some new arrow types and archery tweaks ( I loved those wooden arrows from Retros fletching mod ) make gold coins have weight, darker caves, that should keep me busy for a while.

Definitely going to make Dragons much, much stronger, overkill strong (Stupid Giant scum :flame: ). Then I'm going to start working on a Playable Dragon mod, gotten a lot of support on Nexus and we're already making some idea-wise progress. But as everyone, we must wait for the Creation kit.

Fingers crossed it will be a week... Within two at least.

Try to get a working menu together. From all I can tell, message boxes can only have three options, but I'm hoping I'm wrong.

Make cart travel real time, with some other options such as a reduced price if you stop before, (price paid when you arrive at dest), and more.

I am going to make a simple dungeon that is heavily scripted. It will be similar to Bloodmoon's Raven Rock mine. Since editing voices is a bit to much of a chore for me, I will probably just reuse the voices from buying a house and have it similar to that. Going to have it be a small source of income, but mainly a mine.

On a side note, if someone could actually do this well (I am not the best modder) and release it then that would be awesome.

Re create a much better and detailed world map on an immense scale for Mesogea, our team mod and to really get stuck into making the cities and world as close to a real life feel in a fantasy earth setting.

Hmmm, my first mod will probably be the reintroduction of the http://images.uesp.net/f/f2/MW_Icon_MI_Dwemer_Coin.png and change the lootlists from the Dwemer Chests. I found it rather annoying to find modern day loot and Gold Septims in ancient Dwemer ruins. So if I am able to do it, all Dwemer chests that originally had modern loot and gold will be changed to contain Dwemer artifacts and Dwemer Coins instead.

Next to that I'll probably start designing a manor house on the outskirts of Whiterun (I just love their architecture). But it won't be a freebie home people can just enter like most player home mods. Mine will come with a backstory and they'd need to do a small quest to find and claim the key from its previous owner. :)

Lastly I'll probably check out why you can upgrade some Daedric Artifacts at the forge, while others can't be upgraded at all. And why some can be upgraded to Legendary status while one of my weapons could only be made Flawless. There's no logic there and I aim to see if it can be fixed...

The same thing I did with Oblivion and Morrowind. Make my own nice, cozy house, (preferably on top of the Throat of the World) depending on how well it works I'll add a few quests that link in with the Greybeards and release it.

i think something relatively simple to start with: slow down how quickly the day passes in game.

It's possible that I'm not understanding you correctly, but since I've used set timescale to 6 in the console, it's stuck with my saves.

Make Ulfric and certain other NPCs killable...even if it destroys the quest line; at least I'll feel better about myself. I'm hoping that someone will make a mod that allows someone else to take over the Stormcloaks...the PC would probably be easiest.

Armored Circlets. And general poking about.

Lol, I must say that I was expecting that. Pretty sure you'll come up with some brilliant jewelry for our characters.

That said, I'll poke around everything about races and characters, see the amount of body slots, see which hairstyles aren't avaliable for what race, etc. After I finish mixing and matching a decent character, customizing the avaliable followers to my taste and all, I'll look at equipment stats, spell effects, and weapons.

The first thing I'm going to do with the Creation Kit is to wait for Nifskope to be updated, because my mods have never required the Creation Kit/GECK etc... :vaultboy:

The first thing I'm going to do is make that horse of mine essential and stop jumping into the middle of fights all the time.

Then I'm going to make a house in the Reach somewhere. With lots and lots of bookcases...

Change all 'Epic' smithed weapons and armor to 'Masterforged'. I hate the overuse of 'epic' and I think 'masterforged' sounds better.

I'm no modder myself, but the first thing I'd like to see, content-wise, is more bard songs. The two that get played over and over are starting to get old.

I want to figure out how to make all shelves in your house behave like a bookshelf (meaning you can activate them and put books on them that way).

I love my house in solitude, but I'd love to be able to take all the ingredients and pots and pans off t he default decorated shelves and make them behave like the activate bookshelves. I'm a packrat so lol. I could do what we had to do in Oblivion and put them all set up manually, but meh lol.

After that... I'd raid the mage college library and complete my collection muwahahah...

I'll probably make either a companion or a house. Or possibly a quest-line. Or maybe all three combined. Depends on how much time I want to devote to it.

I'm gonna put a shack out in the wilderness with plenty of storage, an alchemy lab, cooking, outdoor forge, other crafting stuff, etc...with some chickens running around the yard, and live like a hermit...
