In other words, the game you played the most when you were a kid?
When I was about 7, I started playing Heroes Of Might And Magic III with my brothers. We had alot of fun, much like a family moment.

8 years later, I still play it sometimes. It gives alot of good memories just because of the fact that I played it alot with my brothers.

Freespace 2, I probably put hundreds of hours into that game. I also played quite a bit of the RTS adaption of War of the Worlds. Other than that, I didn't really play many games at all when I was younger.

Was a 2d scroller karate game on zx spectrum, Fist was the name. And then I found the Dizzy series and that was the end of Fist. Or the tape broke, I don't remember exactly.

Lol, I have multiple games.

HoMM 3 being one of them.
Age of Empires 2 being another.
Might and Magic 6 & 7 being yet a couple more.
Goldeneye definitely deserves a mention.
Zelda OoT being the last one I can think of that was one of those long lasting games played by my siblings and myself.

Saboteur 2. I played it at school and it defined the moment I knew I just had to get a computer.

No clue, probably Super Mario Bros for the NES. Megaman 1 was freaking awesome though, and you were epic if you could go through the entire game without dying, or dying less than 4 times.

My childhood gaming memories pretty much revolved around DOOM, Wolfenstein 3D, Jazz Jackrabbit, Duke Nukems, and some console oldies like Bomberman, Contra and Duck hunter.

Possibly http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defender_of_the_Crown. At least it was one of the first games I finished without cheating. Also spend a lot of time with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gunship_2000 a few years later and later with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frontier:_Elite_II and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFO:_Enemy_Unknown (got XCOM just a few days ago but haven't played it much yet).

Too many rentals to remember all of them... Of the few I remember Starflight is one of them and some mecha game which I assume was Metal Warriors.

Pre-NES: Sleuth on my old school PC.
(We had one of those consoles you had to program to play and my parents refused to do it so Sleuth was our only "video" game.)
NES: I really don't know... we rotated between games, but I mostly remember Super Mario Brothers, Duck Hunt, Zelda, and Excitebike.

Candyland and Chutes and Ladders.

Video games weren't around when I was kid. Pong made it to my neck of the woods around 3rd grade.

Sorry and Monopoly, although I royally svcked at Monopoly.

As for video games, It would've been things like Pong and Pac Man, Donkey Kong and Defender, as well as other games from the late 70's to early 80's era...back when video arcade were still the place to be. Ahhh, the good ole' days.

If I remember correctly, the trick is build houses early on, at least 1 house for every square is the goal, if possible and then save some money, and then spam hotel building. With enough owned property your opponent will find themselves always landing on your property and having to pay up.

Oh yes, never trade your property away to the opponent even if its tempting.
