OP: Where's the poll? Magic/1-Handed here.

I will have magic in one hand or both hands and a one handed weapon in another hand. What one handed weapon will depend on the enemy I'm fighting and how good the weapon is.

For my Nord Character - Left hand: Spell. Right hand: Hammer.
For my Dark Elf Character: Both hands spells.
For my Orc Character: Both hands swords/hammers.

All of the possibilities.

A bow and daggers as a fall back. Poison on everything

I used to like playing an unarmoured mage who would fall back on hand to hand - I'm not so sure what the weapons will look like this time round - I'll probably go for a light sword - I hope they have Dai-katanas again

Claymore, a big ass axe, a sword and shield combo......that's it, unless they have throwing hatchets or throwing axes. Magic is for cereal boxes : P

Dagger and shield. I like the idea of a shield to defend against arrows and I like the speed of daggers. Magic is for mushrooms.

Umbra when/if I find it. Been my primary weapon in both Morrowind and Oblivion, and that's a tradition I want to continue. Failing, a claymore or some sort or dual wield swords.
