What do you wear for clothing or armor?

A mix of dragon and fur armor. Sometimes leather. Occasionally robes.

I tend to like "realistic" armors more. When I'm exploring in the wild or dungeon diving, I wear Blades armor, Ebony gauntlets, steel boots, and a Nightingale hood. http://i.imgur.com/gbPnC.jpg.

When I'm about to partake in a proper battle (against a dragon and such), I throw on a Blades helmet and look, in my opinion, http://i.imgur.com/rKiaN.jpg.

However, I've been using this armor combo since November and only just now noticed http://i.imgur.com/DyapL.jpg. Made me so sad, now I can't stop seeing it.

I keep fine clothes and boots in my inventory for house/normal wear, but I don't stick around long enough to actually bother changing from my armor.

Edit: If I'm using stealth, slitting throats, or otherwise doing something that doesn't quite fit the nobel look of Blades armor, I wear Nightengale or Ebony Mail.

Miner clothes (Or any other generic "Clothes" that are unisix and cover an entire body), any imperial boots (Just because they have hobnails in them), fur gauntlets and a hood.

Spellbreaker shield; throws up a level 50 ward whenever you block. Makes dealing with mages and dragons as a warrior a whole lot easier!

What's the point of finally getting to 100 enchantment if you don't use it?
Circlet : fortify destruction, fortify restoration.
Gloves : fortify one handed, fortify magicka.
Amulet : fortify destruction, fortify health.
Ring : fortify magicka, resist magic.
Tavern clothes : fortify restoration, fortify health, or
Master robes of restoration.
Boots : fortify carry weight, resist frost for outdoors; fortify carry weight, fortify one-handed for dungeons.

My Stealth Archer wears Tavern Clothes, Gloves, and the Greenish-Brown Boots (all enchanted). Has a good look to it. Sometimes she switches in for Miner's Clothes. There's one with a brown-green look that looks very woodland with a green-grey cowl. If I want more armor I go for Saviors Hide, Forsworn Boots and Dragon scale Gaunts.

I like the Redguard outfit - clothes, Hammerfell boots, and head gear. Not sure if you can buy it - I pickpocketed mine from the Redguards that are out looking for ... somebody. Sometimes the tavern outfit, although the towel in the belt doesn't do much for me. I suppose that I can pretend it's for wiping blood off of my sword. Sometimes "fine clothes" if I am going to talk to someody important, although IMHO none of them really look good. Thieves guild armor if I need armor, but I would like to switch to completey unarmored.

My legionaire wears heavy legion armor and uses only imperial gear. My mage wears only robes.

My new warrior uses baked-bean tins, flattened out, then beaten into shape on an anvil and tied together with string.

Imperial archer- Ebony bow - Dragonscale
Nord (magicka impaired) - 2H Ebony battleaxe - Daedric
Breton pure Mage - no weapons - Archmage robes

The Nord is a dumb tank, has no fear and plows through dugeons like butter using no magic at all. (cruise control with armor and weapons)
The Breton took about 20 level ups to venture away from the cities but is starting to flex her magicka muscles (lots of micromanaging spells during combat)
The ranged Imperial with some one handed skill and some destruction and restoration was the most balanced

From a pragmatic viewpoint, my character uses heavy armor and Dragonbone is the sweet spot. Slightly less effective than Daedric, but dragon bones are a dime a dozen. I then smith it up as high as I can (which is quite a bit) and enchant it. The look has kind of grown on me too.

Archmage robes. Teinaava (my argonian) finds them comfortably warm in their cold, harsh enviroment of skyrim.

Well, I'm trying to get mostly all clothings and armors...

But I'm mainly using Darkbrotherhood armor, Thieve armor, some hauling stuff, Master mage robe (now that my character is good in sneaking related things, I'm leveling his magic and 2-H and 1-H weapons).

And, when I feel like wearing a certain armor or clothing, I will just go to chest that I store armors and clothings or mannequins...

(also, he's a Nord)

In Solitude, in the Radiant Raiment, there is a set of redguard outfit.

Fur armor when the weather gets rough and Thieves Guild armor when working and probably need to mix with Dark Brotherhood gear later, depending on the job. In the cities my character wears normal clothes, trying to blend into crowd.

Maybe I'll buy it legally. Right now there is a Redguard in a loin cloth sitting on a tavern bench.
