1. Half Life 2 + Episodes (For the best alien invasion story ever told, and basically everything)
2. Crysis + Warhead (Great fun, suit, graphics, non-linear gameplay)
3. Call Of Duty 4 (Revolutionized FPS games, had epic story and best multiplayer mode ever made)

Timesplitters 2. I put so many hours into that game and almost had all the platinum trophies.

1. Fallout: New Vegas
I've played Fallout 3 and it just doesn't have the same magic for me. I know that's the absolute opposite of everyone else, but whatever. I love you too, Mr. NV.

What? That's not a FPS? Fine.

2. Korsakovia
Mind terminally fawked.

What? That's a mod? Tough crowd...

3. Bad Company 2 / BC2: Vietnam (tie)
Oh, Frostbite. Never leave me.

Honorable Mentions:
Crysis - Why the hell would I be on this forum otherwise?
WolfTeam - Was my middle school life; I loved this game. You got your pistol, your submachinegun, and your WOLF
Anything else with Battlefield in the title that's for the PC (1942, old Vietnam, BF2, 2142)

All the CoDs until 4 about
Unreal Tournament
James Bond: Goldeneye
Killzone
Metro 2033
Counterstrike
Red Orchestra
Team Fortress 2
And soon to be Crysis 2...

Those are my favs in no particular order :) I still play them all the time. I cant decide which one I like the most but I guess it would be HL since I have re-played the campaign like 20 times

TimeSplitters 2
- Amazing multiplayer, very good singleplayer, great mapmaker and music, addicting, fun to play.

TimeSplitters Future Perfect
- Very good multiplayer [Not amazing, because PS2 version of this games has bug, which allows only up to 8 players (Bots and humans) in a mapmaker map], amazing singleplayer and mapmaker, great music, addicting, fun to play. Too bad the disc is scratched, so it has full of bugs and stuff (Bots cannot be killed anymore in arcade anymore, *snif*).

Aliens vs Predator 2
- Singleplayer is okay, but multiplayer is A.W.E.S.O.M.E. Survivor is the best game mode ever created and playing as xenomorph is cool. Only annoying things about the multiplayer are disc and plasma cannon, which have autoaim thing, which is more than annoying.

Coming Soon: Crysis 2

lol "favourite fps of all time" ... *people list 20 games, some not even fps*

Favourite game of all time would have to be Enemy Territory (not Quake Wars). I played that game, every day, all night, for years. Only stopped playing because the community was folding and i found myself playing BF2 more and more.

Favourite FPS games in an unusual order:

Half Life 1 - "They're waiting for you Gordon, in the tesst chamberrrr".
and 2 - Still waiting for Ep. 3.
Duke Nukem 3D - My first FPS game, and loved it to pieces.
Crysis 1 and 2 - Simply my favourite FPS game at this current time.
Portal - Although it's not action orientated like other FPS's, it's still a great game.
Fallout 3 & NV - I've been playing these two games recently, loving it. But yes, I don't know if I should call it a FPS or not.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas is an FPS with RPG!

Crysis. Of course. And Warhead. Other than that, I gotta say, Half-Life 1. Great stuff.

The original Far Cry from Crytek, without any doubt the most enjoyable SP-shooter in existence. This games excells in many aspects (despite it got a bit of a mess towards the end:P). I also love its atmosphere and outstanding sound-design.

Just go play and love it, the game is that enjoyable;)
