What's your opinion on Vigilants of Stendarr? : V - Skyrim

They're a bunch of hypocrites. "The mercy of Stendarr does not extend to Daedra Worshippers and criminals."

Well what on Nirn do the righteous need mercy for? Sort of defeats the purpose, if you ask me.

I would have preferred them to do a little more than walk around and attack their targets. If they had something of a movement behind them that would start taking actions depending on what your character has done it would have been a nice feature.

I enjoy the irony of killing one of them, then raising them as a thrall to fight the other*.

*Vampire's Servant power.

Oooh... That's inspired. And utter ebil. I just eat them heh. They peed me off after svcking in Markath and the House of Horrors.

Their cause is noble, and they offer free healing of diseases. Its a shame they didnt do much else, otherwise I would have joined them in their righteous crusade

You have neutral borderline good stormcloaks.
You have lawful neutral imperials.
You have chaotic-lawful neutral mages guild, with factions bordering to chaotic good and lawful evil.
You have a true neutral fighters guild.
You have a chaotic neutral borderline neutral evil thieves guild.
You have a neutral evil brotherhood.
You have lawful neutral blades.

Where is my GOOD faction dammit??!?!?!??!?!?!?

I sought out the vigilants in the hopes of joining a GOOD faction.
But no.
We've got the choice between finishing the game at level 17, or making skyrim a worse place.

What about the Bards College?

and Yeah I think you can't really make up your mind about the Vigilant, I visited them to see if you could do quests for them or join, but there's nothing...feels like Beth cut them short...

Love them. I always find myself wishing they were a joinable faction. The first time I saw them I was on the verge of death after an ice troll clobbered me (I was on my first playthrough as an archer), they came running down the hillside and saved me whilst sacrificing themselves. I paid homage to them by t-bagging the troll.

Yeah, I never got the connection to Stendarr, I guess the devs just couldn't find a god that fitted in better.

I like them as a general idea though. Reminds me of gool ol' 40k.

they are clueless idiots because i can walk around right in front of them in daedric armor and they dont do anything. :dry:
