You misunderstand me. It's not that I absolutely crave attention with my creations, it's just a fact. If I were to post my current project on Nexus right now and someone were to check out the 'Latest Files' the next day and find my lovingly and artistically crafted mod with a picture of the male character I'm writing sandwiched between two pictures of over-ripened, sopping bosoms, there's a very good chance that it'd simply fall through the cracks and end up on the 18th page under a mountain of naked female bodies and bikini armor. EDIT: Not the worst way to go, I suppose.
But that's sort of the reason why I ended up writing a male character rather than a female. Would prefer to get endorsemants and accolades by the mod's own merits and not because it's a chick that someone could edit themselves in GECK and turn into their favorite walking six doll ingame.
That, and my balls are just too big to voice a mod of this size entirely in falsetto.

i don't understand the appeal of the sixual/henti mods myself; however, i do find them the source of almost endless jokes!

Example: i was showing a friend of mine (who is playing FONV on xbox) some of the mods he is missing out on. we found some six mod and found some very disturbing pics of easy pete. after the initial shock and disgust we both found the pic very amusing, and now an "easy pete" is our new slang term for the six act he was performing also now i cannot speak or look at easy pete an game- he is a creepy, old pervert

Actually, a perv is precisely that, a perv. Someone who gets their jollies watching a virtual schoolgirl in a thong making provocative poses in a game that has nothing to do with that, is a perv. Anyway the issue here is that the immature mods are often vastly more popular then the legitimate ones people actually invest time/hard work into. That's not to say someone couldn't invest hard work and vast amounts of time into a pervy mod as well... It's just infinitely more sad when they do.

I don't particularly mind though then again this kinda started during Morrowind (For me and my experience with Bethesda titles anyhow, actually Daggerfall had graceful bodies and semi-full nudity directly but I was too young back then, freeware now though I think, should replay it someday properly.) so I am fairly used to advlt type content, Nexus sites are pretty identical to this behavior actually but I don't think too much about it, people have their own preferences and desires after all and that's their decision and opinions.

I actually use Robert's body and a Type 3 variation but with underwear models and mostly muscular (Who else but the fittest would prevail and come trough those situations in the game after all, as I see it.) plus I use armor over clothing nearly all the time and prefer the heavier bulkier types, lately though the slimmer formed Riot armor Geonox created (Based on the armor parts seen trough the cowboy styled ranger "black" desert armor.) has proven pretty good though I don't use much mods at all for unofficial armor and clothing addons, little seem to fit in properly or be what I prefer but that's a personal opinion, similar to how I see most weapon addons but I still find and use a number of them, they're not badly done or anything close to that.

I do agree though that it's a bit funny to see these user uploaded images with assorted dressed up and prettified characters (Both male and female, various poses and such often used.) but I'm not arguing or anything it's a SP game so others can do as they please and want, also I wouldn't say all of them are young males though it's perhaps the majority.
(Not exactly what I mean with the above but Alienslof to use a example created a number of extremely good Oblivion modifications, though some with slight advlt themes, Xivilai race for example and the Khajiit retextures being two I used plus the numerous outfits and armaments.)

Some screens are actually very artistic and well done or planned out but I haven't checked that many, haven't viewed the dedicated galleries at all come to think of it.
(I usually rely on screens by the official mod author but images from fans and others are interesting to look at to see how they did particular situations and with what sort of character build and equipment.)

Since the history of mods, nudity has always been the first thing people try to mod into any game.

In fact, if you look back a bit further, since the history of the very first videos, films, photography, sculpture, even since the very first paintings on cave walls, humans have a natural obsession with the human figure.

Its also weird to me cause when people play they also act the character s voice in there head so do these same dudes who like these mods do a womens voice in there head are did most of these guys play with dolls growing up and this is the reason they like playing with these mod cause really im going to say what most of yall not going to say, do these guys like dressing up women cause if thats the case they must play with dolls i mean "too each is own" but really i am kind of freak out about trying to wrap my head around this. For like months i have you can really feel like a man dressing up women, like me if i a female follower yeah i might want her to be the [censored] just as much as my character but i am not like owe i want to dress her up, now if i want to see some sixy women walk around i will go look at my wife and ask her to dress up for me.And another thing that somebody brought up how the hell does a 14 year old have enough money to have a gaming rig spoiled kids. and on to my second point: Kids, Dont do drugs

I generally play 3rd person view and if I have to choose between staring at a female or male character for a few hundred hours (which is how long my FNV playthroughs typically last) I usually roll a female character (fully clothed BTW).

Daggerfall does have its own nudity. I always thought it was appropriate for the creature... some demon.
I never thought about modding the game. Dosbox... Bleh.

I also use Type 3 and Breeze. Though the HD versions are impressive in detail (can you say razor burn?) I'm back to basic underwear replacements.
I personally don't like the plastic doll or anima looks. But, Beth's clean underwear thing for everyone... that bugs me a bit more.

Now if the body modders would only would release a version with unshaven armpits and sweat stains.

Eh, depends on the game.
I like female characters too, if the characters are already pre-defined.
Mass Effect or Dragon Age -- it's Shepard and Hawke. Their first names and what they look like is irrelevant -- their characters are already pretty much defined.
Game like Oblivion or Fallout, I like to immerse myself by making my character 'me' and as close as possible.

This subject has been beaten to death here and on the nexus in past threads. And I view yet another one as just a successful troll, when the simple and mature solution is just to turn on the advlt filter and ignore the mods that go against your views.

I personally don't care at all what other people want to do with their mods. If they enjoy such, and then want to upload and share, more power to them. As others have said, if you don't like 'em, don't use 'em.


BUT (there's always a but, haha), I do have a minor gripe that so many of the clothing mods REQUIRE the 'sixed up' body model meshes in order to work properly. So if I don't want to use those body models, for various reasons (ie, one of them gives npc's a stiff, awful looking, unnatural standing posture that I can't stand) the available clothing options is really tiny. I wish more modders would make/alter clothes for the default body meshes, even if it's just coloring. Only found one mod that does this to a lot of the vanilla game clothing, so far (and I think he ported it mostly from Fo3).

Not all of us have time/energy or skills to mess with things like meshes & textures. Sigh.

Welcome to modding Bethesda games, OP. That's half the fun, wading through all the anime mods to get to the good stuff! It's like a game within itself!

But its taken to extreme measures. Some of you say its not perverted, you just want to see more detail. Then, how come all the female mods are shaped around supermodels; with huge boobs and teen faces and ive even seen one that allows you to see the female ''cameltoe'' Maybe if the mods just allowed you to view your character naked without making the character of stereotypical six icon figures and measures i wouldn't be perplexed. and its funny how the people defending themselves being ''pervs'' only mention the women mods, ive seen one where you can see your males [censored].
