Where should Skyrims DLC take place?

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 9:45 pm

If you choose other please say where and why you choose that answer the same applies with other answers. My personal preference is Morrowind because Bethesda got Morrowind so right and I think that if they would combine Skyrim and an updated new generation Morrowind it would amp the awesome factor by 1000. Dont flip if I forgot something I was just trying to put the main race homelands not all the other mentioned locations in the series I hope you understand, and I dont want a full province DLC maybe like a caravan trip to a decent size section of Hammerfell or a boat trip to Atmora, or join a raiding party on there way to Orsinium.

I doubt Bethesda will do provinces as they save the provinces for future games and not for DLC.

I dont think doing an expansion in another province is a good idea and I dont think beth would do that.
I vote for either Atmora or another plain of Oblivion.
Or maybe they'll surprise us with something unexpected. Aetherius maybe?

What about High Rock?
If they'll do any, they'll most likely do High Rock.

I don't see Summerset Isle on that list. I also don't see "The Past" on that list. Sure, that's more of a When, but still. Why would we go to Morrowind when it has no plot relevance to Skyrim?

Hammerfell already broke free of Dominion control as well.

I'd say that they'll be in Skyrim or High Rock.

Or they'll blindisde us completely and put an expansion in say, Akavir or another plane of Oblivion.

I chose 'Other'- the lands listed are so big that they probably deserve an entire game on their own.

I'd like to see Skyrim DLC expanding TES:S to include the Orsimar homeland. (And maybe do something more with the the dwemer ruins.)

It's the most appropriate expansion, I think, and therefore probably the most realistic expectation for us to have.

Go to Akavir, homeland of Dragons, search for Nerevarine B)

One of the DLC should be a Skyrim Bonus Pack. It continues each of the guild questlines, add new NPCs, more marriage options, gameplay features, and a Thalmor quest.

Anywhere we haven't been to yet would be good, because it will be a new experience.

It would probably take at least 4 years of development to do another province. That isn't an expansion, that is a new game.

I would like either some huge underground world, another dimension where the Dwemer went, or even a Daedric realm of some sort. Maybe a big new island that came up in the ocean. Maybe Atmora?

I've already created a thread entitled "Mysteries of the Dwemer" that answered this question. My idea for an expansion that takes place in present day Morrowind and ancient Morrowind (via a time rip) is by far better than any other expansion idea I've heard yet. Not only that, but you'd bring a contingent of Dwemer back to populate Skyrim.
