Where will you head?

I would rather end up in Riverwood. I love the way the town looks and I wouldn't mind making my home there.

My Orc warrior--who's also my first character, if you didn't know that already--will head to the town/city were the Companions are located and join up. Though...I suspect I'll get sidetracked.

If there are hard working citizens to rob, you can bet I'll be there!

I couldn`t even tell you the names of any towns/cities as yet, but it would make sense to head to the nearest settlement whatever or wherever it may be, as from what I can gather areas in Skyrim have threat levels attached to them just like Fallout 3/New Vegas. So it would be pretty stupid to wander off too far from the beaten path so early in the game, even though that`s exactly what everyone will want to do =)) But one thing`s for sure - I`ll definately be looking over my shoulder constantly, wondering when exactly my first experience with a dragon will take place Ha Ha

Like Mordred, I plan on going to Whiterun first (which has to do with my chars background story) - if I'll also visit Riverwood before that depends if it lies directly on the way to Whiterun :) !!

i wanted to go straight to the dark brother hood and start my plan to kill them all....but i think the game is gonna force me to do some missions to unlock some of the spells i need for my none hand to hand combat warlock..though if the game has cheats and i can just pick what i want then yea i will join and hunt each member of the DBH...

Mathieu Bellamont was a male Breton who resided within the cellar of Anvil's city lighthouse. He was a long serving member of the Dark Brotherhood, having joined the organization when he was a boy. Bellamont joined the family with the sole intention of destroying it in revenge for the murder of his mother years previously. His dark plans finally came in to fruition when he was appointed to serve on the Black Hand as the Silencer to Alval Uvani. Using his position on the Black Hand, as well as the unknowing aid of a particularly ambitious family member, Bellamont proceeded to wreak havoc on the Brotherhood killing off one Black Hand member after another. The remaining Speakers gathered at Applewatch Farm, brutally torturing and killing Lucien Lachance who was believed to be the traitor. The Hand then made its way to Bravil in order to consult the Night Mother on the Black Hand's future. The traitor saw his chance and made to attack the Night Mother, to his dismay however the ethereal specter of the Brotherhood's matron could not be harmed by physical damage. At last the Black Hand saw its true enemy and the remaining two Speakers killed Bellamont, finally bringing an end to his madness.

Im picking up where my uncle left off... Bellamont family lives on!!!

I am thinking of making a giant loop around the map, starting with Riften. The way I see it playing out in my head is that I head to the Riften area, kind of get nestled in. Start making a life for myself hunting, learning alchemy, cooking, all the good stuff. This is where I will advance my stealth based skills, as well as archery. Once I have leveled up a bit I will head north to the College of Winterhold and do the same thing as in Riften, just replacing magic with stealth. And finally I will head east and join the Legion, focusing on combat. This way I spend a good chunk of playing time getting to know the different areas of the world, and training as many skills as I can in order to tackle the main quest.

Here's a man with a plan. I wonder if there'll even be survivors and if it'll be rebuilt, instead of doomed to burn forever like Kvatch.

I plan on heading to the nearest place with non hostile people to talk to....and then find out where a big enough city is to get my thief on!

I am torn between bosmer and breton. I love the bretons but I want to play a thief. wondering if the low stats related to sneak and crime will make it tough to be a breton thief.

Let's hope for him that the Dragon isn't keeping an eye on the town :P

They'll make it more challenging in the early running, and thus more fun.

My character came to Skyrim to study at the College of Winterhold. What distractions happen along the way I don't know though. If Riverwood would be a logical first stop, he'll still go there.

My medium term goal is to get to the College of Winterhold

I'd like to level up a bit ahead of that though, so will probably head to Riverwood and get the Golden Claw quest out the way
