No, I gave them unique effects that do that. You're correct that NPCs will not normally use healing spells on allies. I gave Brelyna a healing spell that restores allies when she uses it on herself, and the rest are automatically applied by perks.


I've now given Derkeethus a chance for his arrows to burst on impact. Having exploding arrows has nothing to do with his personality, but it's really cool and I wanted another great archery follower, so whatever.

I've now given Kharjo the life detection effect I mentioned.

Illia has blood magic now, because that seemed like a freaking awesome idea and it kind of fits her anyway. You know what else? I like Illia. She's cool. I'm slapping the marriage faction on her just 'cause.

Any thoughts on implementing essential changes like in this mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=3111 (excpet without all the issues it has) ... like being able to trade any item (all follower gear unlocked) and setting essential status. Or do you know of a better mod that does these things?

Yes, setting them all to essential would be awesome, as I'm using War in Skyrim II, Increased Spawns and Unlevelled Skyrim, so my survivability
is super low at level 13 right now.
