Who is getting 60FPS on Ultra?

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 5:31 pm

My specs are: Geforce 590 SLI, 24 gig of Kingston RAM. Asus Rampage 3, i7 X990 3.47 GHZ, 64 bit Windows 7 Ultimate.

I don't seem to be experiencing the same problems people are reporting, such as the mouse lag etc, i have downloaded the latest Nvidia driver released today, maybe that sorted it?
I don't know what FPS i am getting but everything is running smooth on Ultra including everything on highest settings under the advance tab.
Some users reported problems in SLI, but i have yet to see any....

Risey...

Im guessing it adds AA anti aliasing to the FX like spells ETC,but just a guess.

Nah it's just super AA quite a big FPS killer too, i lose about 40% FPS when i use it on BF3

60 fps on ultra plus those two extra shadow options in ini file that don't seem to be active by default. I do play in third person. In some areas frame rate drops as much as down to 30 but I haven't seen anything worse yet. i7 2600k, 16 GB, GTX 580.

I7 860 @3.8 oc
8gb 1600 ddr3
WD caviar black hdd
Gtx 570 sc

Game runs butter smooth at 60fps, not sure what it dips to, but haven't noticed any dramatic changes besides the opening ride which seemed off(not so much stuttery but it jerked a bit here an there, hell could have been normal but seemed off to me).

Intel i7 920@3.5Ghz
6GB Ram
SSD
Ati 4870x2
X-Fi
Win 7 x64
Cat 11.9

Ultra, 1920x1080, FXAA, 8Aniso, High details and Maximum view distance on all sliders.

Getting 50+ FPS indoor/outdoor, it runs really smooth.

I had to fix CFX tho, with Radeon Pro's dll which use Oblivion cfx method, my fps had doubled.

ATI fix i already posted, copy atiumdag.dll into Skyrim folder and it will load it each time and fix CFX scaling.

AMD P2 x4 980 @ 4.1ghz
8gb ddr3 1600 ram
AMD 6870 1gb

60fps 1080p max ultra (but only 4x AA), with occasional dips to 40/50 in towns.

Happy :)

AMD Phenom II X4 945
MSI 770-C45 Mainboard
8GB DDR3 @ PC3 10666
GeForce GTX 465 w/ 1GB GDDR5, Driver 8.17.12.8026
2TB 7200 RPM HDD, SATA II (yeah, I know, the drive slows the system down = P)
Win7 64 Ult
Onboard Realtek sound, latest drivers

Not sure what my exact FPS is, but it runs stable so far with everything maxed (not including tweaks).

i7 2600k OCed to 4Ghz
8Gb Kingston HX RAM
Crossfired 2Gb 6970s

I'm running at 50-60fps. Crossfire isn't working at this stage, so I'm thinking a solid 60 once it's available.

Benchmarks here: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/skyrim-performance-benchmark,3074.html

I think there's also the fix for 60fps limit.

I'm averaging about 50fps on a 1600p monitor with everything maxed.

Mobo: DX48BT2
CPU: QX9770 @ 4.0GHz
RAM: 4GB (2x2GB) 1600MHz
GPU: GTX 570 (1280MB)

Skyrim and OS are on SSDs.

1680x1050 resolution, Radeon Sapphire HD4890 1GB, 3 GB, 2.6 GHZ Dual core, and my PC is a Dell Dimension 9800, this PC I got in 2006. I can max out every single setting in the game and run a solid 30FPS outside and a good 40-50 indoors. I have literally everything maxed out including fade distance. I couldn't even run Fallout New Vegas as good as this game and this game is much nicer visually.

Played about 3 hours so far, had one crash right at the beginning but has been running well since.

I am getting 60 fps consistently and I have all graphic sliders maxed, Anistotroptic is at 16 samples, antialiasing is at 8 samples

My specs:

i5 2500k 3.3Ghz
Nvidia GTX 570
4GB RAM
Windows 7

Update, most knows about iPresentinterval=0 no v-sync stuff but when you set it into Skyrim.ini it uncap the FPS from the max 60, effectively getting rid of v-sync for good.

iPresentInterval=0

Intel Corei5 2,67Ghz

Radeon HD 6950
DirectX10
Windows Vista ultimate

30-40 FPS at the beginning on Ultra, in the town it crashes to 20-30 FPS.

Still early/just started but my fps is all over the place, from 35fps for a second or three as I move around outside to over 100 in the cave/dungeons. So far, I'd guess an average of about 50-60fps. Feels smooth however, no noticeable stutter/lag etc.

1920x1080, DX10, Ultra (includ. shadows)/max launcher menu & in-game settings, no .ini tweaks yet
i7-920, stock spd
12gb ddr3 1600 system RAM
GTX-590 3gb v-ram, stock spd
win7-64Pro
Mechanical, non-SSD hard drive.

Cant even maintain 50 fps

GTX 580 sli @ 900 core
Asus rampage 3 extreme
i7 960 @ 3.8
12 gig DDR 1600 Kingston

GPU usage 20-30%
Mouseaccel way off
Mouselag

this feels not like a brand new engine it feels like the same crap engine used in oblivion, made worse

I'm averaging 60 right now....after some (minor) tweaking.
Using Ultra settings @ 1920x1080, with shadow detail turned back to High and FXAA enabled, AA set to 4 samples and AF set to 12 samples (still playing with AA and AF settings though).
SkyrimPrefs.ini file has been changed with bTreesReceiveShadows and bDrawLandShadows both set to 1.
Also I changed the following forceware settings: Antialiasing - Transparency set to Multisample, Vsync forced on (Vsync off caused screen tearing...).

i5 2500k
SSD
GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozer II OC
8GB RAM
Windows 7 64bit

Hi Twitch S Simons,

Can you tell me what your forceware settings are?
