Post » Tue May 15, 2012 8:03 pm

Intel core 2 Duo 2.0GHz
Nvidia GTX 260
4GB DDR3

All this in a laptop and getting between 28-40 FPS depending on where I am.

FPS even increased with the SLI beta profiles. Not even dropping below 50 with everything maxed out.

GFX: GTX 560 Ti Hawk (UC to 750/1800) SLI
CPU: i5-2500k (@3.30 GHz)
RAM: Kingston Genesis (16 GB)
SSD: Kingston HyperX (120GB)

60 FPS constant (Obviously capped, so without cap, I would probably have above 60)

I have the game running on Ultra and it really is smooth,I can't say what the FPS is as I do not know the console command and don't like running a program in the back while playing like "fraps"

Have not encountered any lag after 3 hours of playing.

1920x1080 res
AMD 965 3.4GHz(O'C'd 3.7)
8gb RAM
6870 (O'C'd around 10%)
WIN 7 64 bit.

I'm on Ultra as well. How can I toggle my FPS check?

Well I did decide to use fraps so I could give better information,On high settings(my specs are listed above)I am almost always at 60 fps..at ultra the only time I see a drop is in town when it goes to around 50 fps.

All in all a very enjoyable experience.

i don't think even a 6970 xfire system will run at a solid 60fps in this game.
I get 60fps most of the time, especially indoors. Outdoors can be anywhere between 45-60. I saw it drop once to 35 when looking down at a city from a keep entrance.
There seems to be some micorstutter though. Cuz sometimes in dungeons it runs choppy even at 60fps.

win 7 64 bit
i5-750 @ 3.4Ghz
Radeon 6970
8GB ram

Most people probably use a separate program like Fraps (or something else). Some games may have a fps toggle but not sure if Skyrim does.

I get 60+ FPS on Ultra but the trade off is my entire game flashes yellow and I can't see to play from the moment I get character control onwards. No idea whatsoever why either :toughninja:

Untrue as I use a 6970 (posted my specs earlier), not SLi, just one, and it pulls 60 FPS non stop.

I'm getting about 60 FPS average and I'm using Ultra/AF16x/AA4x 1680x1050, vsync=off, fov=90, enabled also the 2 shadow options about land and trees which are default disabled in the ini with my setup:

Intel i7-860 @ 4.0GHz
GTX460 OC @ 880/1760/1000 MHz
2x2GB RAM @ DDR3-2292 9-10-8-24
120Hz LCD monitor why I can make use of +60 FPS too

Some screens with FPS shown there (no spoilers):

Very satisfied with the performance with my setup. :)

2500k @ 4.5ghz
8gb of RAm
AMD 6950 unlocked shaders to 6970 @ 900/1385

im getting between 58-60fps everywhere and if i use iPresentInterval=0 i get well over 150fps inside buildings and 80+ outside...but while using the iPresentInterval=0 i get the weird green/grey lines and the sound stutter every once in a while

Not really having any problems

i7, 6 gig ram, and an HD6950

I'm getting 50-60 fps on ultra

I had a couple crashes outdoors

I did, however, have problems with very slow fps when I first started. I then went into catalyst control and switched every to "application control". I also set the AA type to performance (MSAA, I think). This boosted me about 40 fps :) It may have been trying to double AA.

sorry, i don't believe you. Unless you are running a low resolution, it's impossible to get a constant 60 in this game with a single 6970 in all locations. Some locations, yes. all locations, no..
Tom's Hardware did an exhaustive benchmark article and used numerous video cards (including the 6970). Even SLI setups hit minimum framerates of under 60.
read it here if interested: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/skyrim-performance-benchmark,3074.html

System specs in signature below:
EDIT. I should mention using 275.33 Nvidia drivers.

Running Ultra with all the settings I could find maxed. 1920x1200.
I usually am running around in 3rd person. I do not see a meaningful impact on my FPS
comparing 1st to 3rd but not checked that very often.

Typical see 60 FPS solid with some situations dropping 50-60 and rarer still
40-45 FPS. The latter was in a cave where there were a number of fire sources about and the drop
is momentary depending on environment in that cave. Rest of the time saw 55-60FPS in that cave.

On a couple occasions it was outside and the FPS did drop to 45 for unknown reasons but
it only lasts a few seconds as I move past the area. I was up on a mountain trail at the time.

Then back to 60FPS.

Only tweak I've done is increase the Field of View FOV to 90 via console command.
I"ve not compared the default FOV to what I've set it to. I suspect 90 means a performance hit though.

System specs in my sig below.

I've not had a single crash or hiccup in about a grand total of 12 hours game play.

I'm almost always getting 60+ on ultra with sliders at full. For whatever reason tho, even without having fraps give any indication of lesser framerates, I'm still getting horrible lag when I look about at times. I need to play around a bit more and see if it happens all the time in the same areas. Anyone else get that effect?

GTX560 direct CUII OC.
AMD II X4 965 @ 3'4.

I have constant 60 fps, almost everything maxed but some slidders and 4xAA.

Latest beta drivers did wonders for me.

Yep me too. I have a smooth 60fps on ultra except in a a few seemingly random places. I'm trying to work out a common theme between them. Some examples are on the steps coming down from dragons reach where i drop to 30fps, as well as in riften. Perhaps its something to do with the number of lightsources or npcs?

This is with a 580 and 2600k at 4ghz btw.
