Who Wants A Regular Fallout Comic?

Post » Thu May 19, 2011 3:24 am

Huh, I would think a great many people still read comics, and buy them for more than just collectors items. I've lent out my copies of Invincible to quite a few friends, and I regularly talk about comics with a good friend of mine, and she knows the owner of a local comic shop that's doing fantastically well and has a laaaarge amount of regulars that come into the shop weekly, as well as people just coming in randomly. And the comics section of my local Borders takes up a sizable chunk as well. I'd say comics are much more popular than you might think. Plus there is Comic-con...

The resurgence of movies based on comics is probably making them more popular with a larger number of people, especially since most of them have been well recieved, and Valve is having great success with their in-house made comics for Left 4 Dead and Team Fortress 2, which they post online for free and are of very good quality. Also, considering how popular the Fallout franchise has become, I think a Fallout comic would ding on many peoples radars. :)

I want my Fallout comic in Paper form. That is all. :)

Oh that's surprising. Where im from comics are just classed as collectables, maybe one or two people take interest to read them but the rest seem to just store and keep locked away ready for the years to come to be bought at pretty insane prices for a comic.

Well, im sorry. Its hard to show emotion/feeling/thoughts through via internet or text :unsure2:
Haha, to be honest i do like some comics i even have some of my own. It's just these days nothing interests me in reading books magazines and other things like that, I don't hate them just we have moved on. Like i could read any book on the internet possibly, without having to dread the feeling of how much left of the book is left <_<

People still read them, maybe your just jaded or have grown out of them.

But yes in the right hands a nice film could be made but that is rarely the case. :(

Yes perhaps im just moving on  Ah well who knows, i may even return back to my comics. But just at the moment the way the world is finding better things to access information etc, Im sticking with the beloved creation of the Internet :D
Yeah it is a shame that if the Fallout series got into the filming industry, it wouldn't turn out great unfortunately :(

Would I want it : [censored] YES
Would I pay for it?: [censored] YES

Fallout is absolutely the single most perfect thing to make a comic for. I'm so pissed that I couldn't get the collectors edition, as "All Roads" was one of the most amazing looking things EVAR. But seriously Obsidian/Bethesda, if you DON'T make this comic, you will be: A: Majorly disappointing your loyal fans and B: passing up what will basically amount to free money.

I would love to see another adventure in the capital/mojave, or possibly one in NYC, Detroit, Austin, or a plethora of other large cities not yet covered by the Fallout Series. I just wish I could cast my vote more than once, that's how badly I want this. You should even make it subscription by mail. I'd sign up, pay 24.99 a year (Or whatever) and receive the comic (PLEASE MAKE IT LONG!)

And if it IS thrown out online, Just Zenimax it like you've done with all the videos we wanted to see (Lol j/k)

Meh..I change my mind now that you've all made me feel like a cheap ass. Beth is my favorite developer and FO3 is my all time favorite game, so I guess I would pay. As long as each issue was a good length, since I know story quality wouldn't be an issue. I'm just pretty strapped right now and saving for a lot of other things at the moment so online versions would have been convenient.
