C'mon, don't worry about it... there will be some mechanic to present the needed information to the player.

imo the more subtle the better, besides we've all seen the trailer, we all know which biomes to nose around in if we really want to track it down.

but someone already said if you found the vampire castle you will not be able to get in.

What if you're already a vampire?
It would kind of make the DG a bit of a joke as a vampire hunting society if you just stroll right in and sign up.

Thats what pisses me off i mean why would my intelligent level 81 dunmer vampire sign up to hunt other vampires? granted she hates those vampires in morthal and will kill them but the rest she runs from because she doesn't want to hurt them.

you could always roleplay that you are interested in this rumor of powerful vampires and based on your mastery of illusion you feel that you can infiltrate this group until you learn what you want.

Well it looks like im going to need to feed before going there as im currently running around as a level 4 vamp and have been for a while and since im rich looting and going into towns isn't required anymore but getting attacked by people is still annoying lol

Well remember that the Dawnguard are a much more public organization, or at least I imagine it to be. Vampire Hunters are much more public than a Vampire coven for obvious reasons.

They could have added a random incounter in which you see a dying vampire lord and he gives you info he stole from the dawnguard to take to harkon and his dying wish is for you to do it for him and BAM! you join the volkhihar
