I just looked at the "Starting Dawnguard" thread by Gstaff and he doesn't say how to find the volkhihar so that probably means we will have to do a few quest with them before we can see harkon which seems lame to me =\

Doubt it.

I suspect characters who are already vampires won't be able to join the DG anyway.

It'll prolly give you the location of the vamp castle same way, via guard rumors.

Im just going to go to volkhihar castle when the dlc starts that is unless bethesda put a sea serpent in the water that circles the castle and if you get to close it eats you lol

alot of people are going to be waiting for a rumor that might not even exist.
beth needs to put out more info about how to join the vampire side.

Wear a dragon priest mask or full face helmet.

They'll never know if they can't see your face/eyes.

C'mon, don't worry about it... there will be some mechanic to present the needed information to the player.

imo the more subtle the better, besides we've all seen the trailer, we all know which biomes to nose around in if we really want to track it down.
