Why the hell should they, most people understand english anyways. Portoguse language is only spoken by 200 million people anyways. English, french, spanish, chinese, arabic and russian are all languages bigger than portoguse.

I would rather see Bethesda spending their money on making a better game. Next TES game must be released with norwegian translation even tho only 5 million people speak it!

Im brazilian and I really dont like this new trend of translating games to portuguese. Probably the best benefit of playing games is learn english. I dont speak very well(or write), but I can read and listen english books/films/series without a problem now because of all the RPGs I played for the last 20 years.

Even If bethesda translate TES to portuguese, I would play on english...so should you.

It's good to see some replies for my ask, as well sad in knowing that would be near impossible have some Brazilian subtitles for my prefered games.
Indeed I agree when people say we have a lot of piracy and HUGE Taxes and rooten politicians. Sad but true!!!
Well, I have no problem at all in playing games in english, for sure they have their magic in its native language. I even rather playing them in english, as well with movies, God know how I hate translated movies. I came here ask for other of us who are not able to enjoy deeply and properly the games.
We, as brazilians, are good in adapting to things, it will not be a language problem to bother me playing my games... Actually, one of the things that made me study english was my taste for games, especificaly RPG's, since FFVII.

They included Spanish, and this diversifies the market for the game in the Latin American countries from the get go.

Even if it was portuguese audio in the game, I would prefer listening to the original voices. I guess it sounds better

We could not get a decent PC user interface because PC sales are said to be in the 10-15% range and apparently not worth the extra expense, and people are asking for a translated version of Skyrim for a language spoken (as first language) by, what, 5% of the world population?

The Ice Age movies are great in Norwegian, mostly because one of our leading comedians, Dagfinn Lyngb? voices Sid.

Well the French version has voice actors, so does the Spanish one. I assume it's the same for the others. Around here (Montreal) on Xbox you could choose either English or French at the store - it's not the same disc where you just switch the language so the argument of disk space is invalid. It's just a matter of is there enough market for a certain language.

First of all, is PORTUGUESE, not Portoguse. Second, you wrong about French language. Portuguese has more speakers in the world.
