Reading this thread brings hope to me. Played this game consistently since day one with 3 different play throughs (one my fourth right now) and I haven't seen so many of these things. Gives me more incentive and hope of finding exciting things in the land of Skyrim.

Other than the odd Khajiit attacking me randomly, I haven't had too much happen for me. Just still enjoy the random encounters with npc's and such.

On the road to Windhelm, found myself a ghostly saber cat. Non-hostile, apparently non-interactable. Anybody else?

I actually found 3 dead Imperials and 2 dead Stormcloaks once. The 3rd Stormcloak was alive and you wanna know what was funny about him? He took an arrow in his knee!

It might be a bug but you do kill a ghostly saber cat during a quest.

A Riften Guard that sneak-killed a random Thief (reference to the game) at night, and walked around in sneak mode. Seeing a guard crouch-walk with those dark, soulless no-eye-having helmets is just plum creepy.

This is a super long story that is pointless and nobody will care but I had already typed it without realising so here we go...

That's a crazy trip, I don't care who you are.

How about a dungeon closet full of shoes. Has Imelda Marcos made it into the game?

LOL ... I saw that much earlier in my playthru (seems so long ago); thanks for the reminder. :D

What about that little alcove with a couple of bears. Once youve killed them, you see they were guarding various animal parts...and the skeleton of a tiny child.

In the bottom-right corner of the map, on top of the mountain you'll find
Spoiler
Several huge splotches of blood, leading upwards. If you follow it, you'll find a Frost Troll, a Flag stuck in the rock, a locked strongbox, and a helmet with a skull in it.
Definitely one of the more interesting things I've come across thus far.

There is also a vampire lair with a bookshelf filled with about 20 different shoes that I always chuckle at. It looks like they killed a bunch of people and kept the shoes.

I'm on an X-box so this was fairly unique for me. I was in some cave full of bandits, and it was one of the ones where they have the arena's for wolf fights and stuff. After making it to where they keep the animals I was greeted by two friendly saber cats and a wolf that just roamed around, it was pretty cool. And another interesting experience was eating the Jarrin Root, fun time.

Was sneaking through a cave once, killed a badit and looted him. Realizing I was over encumbered I dropped some items. The bandit captain having heard the noise walked out to investigate. Seeing this and being stuck in a corner I just waited for him to approach. He then asked me if he could have the armor I dropped. I said yes, he thanked me stood around for a minute and then began attacking me. One of the most interesting occurrences in my game.

I found the bodies of three giants, but no other bodies.

What could do that? Gets creepier considering I haven't initiated the Dragon Spawning quest yet.

One time I was walking up the road near morthal and for a couple of seconds the entire game went dark, the textures looked strange, and everything looked like on giant cyber grid.... and it only looked like this if I stood in a very specific location...... hmm

I remember I stole a horse from some hunter or some guy selling stuff. It was at the beginning of the game so I needed a horse to get to some place on a mountain (might have been Bleakfalls Barrow or something like that). I was halfway up when I got attacked by a wolf. I got off my horse to attack the wolf and my horse just (i don't know how to put this) teleported. Well, it didn't technically teleport since it didn't disappear but it got flung sideways so hard that it was gone in an instant. It was as if it was going back to its original owner. I was pissed off because I had to walk the rest of the way. :(

Hmm,being hit with a flying chunk of bread when i entered my house in whiterun, and losing a tiny bit of health...that was weird.
In the middle of nowhere with a blizzard raging, only to have a courier in his undergarments run up to me,that was a strange and amusing one.

The first one isn't really on topic but always wanted to share that.
