Will you buy another Obsidian/Bethesda game?

If you want sophistication in gaming, try Blizzard. Until then, have fun buying broken games that don't get updated, because people like you will give them money whether or not they finish or refine their products. The incentive to produce a good game is profit, just like any other trade. If you can make profit selling junk, then your going to do it.

Screw Activision and Bobby Kotick.

Even though I don't like the bugs in the game, I'll take them over a loser who wants me to pay a subscription for every game that I want to play online.

Depends on when and how they fix this game, we should totally get some type of compensation though for putting up with this [censored] I will definetely not buy on release day thats for sure, the game should have been delayed

Since Obsidian/Bethesda isn't saying anything (or doing anything as far as I can tell) about all the glitches and severe problems that a majority of players are having with Fallout:New Vegas, will you continue to buy their games knowing that they are more interested in raking in your money than fixing a shoddy piece of work?

keep in mind that the PC Ver. of FNV got a patch 2 -3 days after the game breaking bugs had been found. PS3 and Box both have differant coding for the same problems. They are prob testing it out so we don't all return our game, also keep in mind that a DLC is in the pipeline and they have to test it against the new patch. I figure we got a week left before we see anything.

They always try to fix the issues without making new ones. F3 had a bunch and they most all got fixed.

I love that people are blaming obsidian.. like bethesda has some fantastic track record or something.. Nobody seems to remember the release date bugs of morrowind, oblivion or F3...
Snipped for space

Go back even further ro Arena with over six patches and Daggerfall - It was unplayable out of the box! I bought the game on release day and returned the game the next day as it was unplayable (in those days there were no CD writers, so games could be returned). That game (and others) was instrumental in developing a policy of no purchase until a few weeks after release. I have enough games in the backlog queue that I can wait a month or two. I am just starting Drakensang and neverwinter nights 2 that picked up for less than $25 combined.

I know that they're working on it, but an update on the status of the patch would be nice. The last update they gave us was a week and a half ago.

hmm.... they claim the "patch is already available" however nothing has seemed to change for the better does this mean a second patch will be forthcoming or are we out of luck?

Well, I'll absolutely be purchasing RAGE, BRINK, and the new Hunted.
I'll also be buying ES:5.
I love Bethesda games, they're the greatest game makers in the business.
Shift happens.
I may not like it, but it does.
With the level of sophistication that Bethesda brings to the gaming universe, stuff like this is bound to happen.
Nobody likes it, but we have to deal with it, and let's face it.
We're all buying the next Bethesda game.

Bethesda didn't make this game Obsidian did. We shouldn't have to deal with it, we paid for product that is broken.
