[Edit:] Eureka! All Hail the great and powerful Carrots!

Bloodlines.. a failed game soo adictive that you find yourself reinstalling it every time some one mentions it... I personaly blame Janette.. who wouldn't want to crawl into that Malk's skin? My fav clan was Brujah. super fast + uber strong AND a berserker temper? <3 SOLD! For Mage, it was the Cult of Ecstacy or Hermetics.. because who doesn't adore a magic smoking utensil or a pension for fireballs?!
Vampires in WoD when faced with a Werewolf did the sensible thing. They ran like hell or called in as many friends as they could and all the silver available to take it down.

back on topic, i still vote for MORE KILL CAMS! thats right, i want more brutal bloody show cases of my werewolf's power and savagery. perhaps even assassination animations if the sneak ability gets added!

If sneak was added I woud spend most of my time prowling around stalking and ambushing EVERYTHING!!!! :drag:

Really Vampire Lord would tear a Were wolf apart. Bats, Vampiric grip and drain ball. Once you are in the grip you are dead. If you get too close then bats would be good, if VL gets knocked down mist form would give time to recover.
Were wolfs sneaking would be great. Especially into those bandit forts.

VL can't be ragdolled; Only momentarily stunned. Though I can't say the same for WW. I've been ragdolled by a draugr deathlord as a WW before.

Were wolfs sneaking would be great. Especially into those bandit forts.
Also, If beast form gets sneaking then it only makes sense for VL to have it as well. This should be in a patch though, not another 20$ DLC.

I'm pretty sure that vampiric grip won't work on werewolves, I tried using it on Sinding and nothing happened.

Yep, it works on giants.

Edit: I never seen any wild werewolves so I never had the opportunity to use it on them. Sinding must be a super wolf.lol

Try not to fast travel. And the falkreath area seems to be an ideal spot for the most wild werewolf encounter according to some players.

 this again....
Both are pretty evenly matched, neither really has an edge over the other. It all boils down to skill in that form, me Vs an AI vampire lord would result in me utterly destroying the vampire lord, I've already done it to Harkon. But you pit me against a seasoned vampire lord player who knows their stuff and it will be a battle to behold, all because both are very able to counter the other very effectively. But the chances of us ever being able to really test it by pitting a player controlled werewolf against a player controlled vampire lord are zero, unless there is a multi-player function added but that's never going to happen.

I think I read earlier in this thread that people said perks in the sneak tree affect the werewolf form. Is that true? Do sneak perks carry over into beast form? I see the UESP says that the magic resist perks from the Alteration tree carry over into beast form, is there a list of all the perks that affect beast form? I'd really like to know all of them so I can make the best werewolf build.

I'm not sure about sneak. But the lord stone will carry over in beast form, magic resistance and absorb perks do carry over in beast form, and flesh spells carry over in beast form as well. My werewolf mage does well with those.

Yep sneak skill carries over into beast form, the Light foot perk carries over to help with bear traps and the Silence perk carries over allowing for silent running/walking as a werewolf. This is the only reason that I'm able to get within 10 feet of my target ( as long as I manage to stay out of their sight ).

It would be awesome, creeping along in the tall grass on all fours in sneak. You sneak right up behind your prey and pounce on them, ripping them limb form limb :drag:

Thanks for the info! Are there any other perks, other than the alteration perks and ones you'v mentioned that affect beast form? I'm thinking Snake Blood in the alchemy tree might work, but I don't consider poison to be a very high threat. I've read conflicting forum posts about 1-hand perks, like dual savagery as well.

The one-handed perks doesn't carry over because your unarmed if there was a perk tree for Unarmed( hand to hand fighting ) then that would have carried over. I would wager that the Snake blood perk does infact carry over but I have never tested it, never really perked too much into the Alchemy tree. Other then the Alteration tree and the Sneak tree there's nothing else that carries over, the Light armor perks USED to carry over but they changed that in a patch. You need to think of race when making a werewolf mostly, Orc's for example, their Beserker rage will carry over when cast before changing allowing you to deal out double the damage while taking half the damaged recieved. This translates into a werewolf that's doing 280 damage for each paw if you have fully perked your werewolf or 180 damage each paw for a new unperked werewolf. (An unperked werewolf is doing 90 base damage for each paw and a fully perked werewolf is doing 140 base damage for each paw.)

Carrots you really need to play Skyrim on the PC just for the werewolf mods.

I installed one that changes werewolf sounds to terrifying ones. They howl when they transform. growl and what not when they feed. Just awesome. Been terrorizing bandit and forsworn camps since Dawnguard came out. Gotta get those perks mastered haha. Sadly camps don't respawn fast enough. And you could also use the mods that allows werewolves to interact with doors and levers so fortress clearing is way easier then getting stuck in one room.

And my werewolf absolutely owns AI controlled vampires including the oldest vampire lord known.

Those mods sound so cool. I can't wait until I get a PC.

here is the youtube video with the old sounds first and the new sounds second.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=G2ex1Zm6A4M

And I just realized I only always get the one kill cam of the werewolf jumping on the enemy and ripping them apart with claws. Looks like there are bitting ones as well as a decap and throw one. weird...
