Wish Werewolves could sneak

Who knows, they might have some friendly competiton with each other to a lesser degree than the Mazken and the Aureals arguing for Sheogorath's favor? Werewolves always seem to get the spotlight. They hunt with Hircine in his realm, Hircine hosts a hunt for werewolves in Solstheim, not to mention he gives them Totems. I am willing to bet werebears get the short end of the stick here. I remember reading that the Nords and the werebears had to step aside in the canyons in the Hunting Grounds to allow Hircine and his werewolves to finish off the prey that they spent the entire day hunting down

Hehe, Lord of the Rings.

That's because we're just that cool
Nice avatar by the way, it's a lovely depiction of Serana

Yea it does seem like we get the short end of the stick. I still want to play as a mighty bear though (just as long as the stick isn't to short )

I see you changed your's as well, is it Beorn ? Sure as hell looks like him

That sound pretty cool, I imagine werewolves being Hircine's main force while werebears being more his Shock troops when the prey needs extra muscle to bring down.

If werebears are included, I would love beth add to add an easter egg for Beorn, maybe you could meet a werebear that says "Man those goblins in the Misty part of the Jeralls are nothin' but trouble".

Yeah. Sort of, I suppose. I imagine the Hunting Grounds being an eternal game preserve with different enviornments. I know there are rivers, a huge forest with no underbrush, canyons and an African-styled savannah.

Ever watch Predators? It might be akin to that, except it is sort of a Lycanthropic afterlife from what I gathered. Instead of Tsun and Shor, we have a great wolf and Hircine(Mentioned in Kodlak's journal. Must be the wolf we see Hircine holding by the leash in his shttp://www.gamerguides.com/images/library/37/12731-ob-quest-hircine-1jpg.pngand in http://chorrol.com/files/231/old_hircine.jpg). Instead of mead halls with endless mead, there is a vast territory of werebears and werewolves and antelopes.

I thought that the Great wolf represented the werewolf spirit, when you cure Kdlak it's a spectral wolf and not a spectral werewolf.

Perhaps. Or perhaps it is Hircine's pet wolf that drags people into the Hunting Grounds so Hircine can give them a hug.

Don't know about that ice cream, but Im sure you can forge it at your local blacksmith in whiterun.

I would love to have done customization for those two creatures. I love the idea and even thought about it, but alas it would have been too hard to implement with the time we had and it would have required alot of data. Awesome idea though, I like you... in a completely plutonic way of course..

I keep trying, but it melts before I can get my spoon at it. Speaking of which, I have no idea how Ysgramor ever used this thing. Maybe I'll have better luck with some soup...

Could be that too, I'd gladly except that hug :hugs:

Just a thought, but I would love to see different shifting (ala-Werewolf: The Apocalypse). I could certainly see transforming into wolf-form and being able to sneak. A partial wolf-tranformation could alter the appearance to look more wolvish but add damage to melee attacks. I don't know how many folks are familiar with World of Darkness, but I would love to have the ability to choose from 3 other werewolf forms (wolf, werewolf, and partial wolf-man). That would rock

That's a nice idea, by wolfman you mean like http://i2.squidoocdn.com/resize/squidoo_images/590/draft_lens17724283module148779448photo_1299674908oliver-reed-curse-of-the-
I would love to have the ability to sneak while in beast form, not only would you be able to stalk your prey properly but it would add sooOOOoo much RP value to it as well. I don't know about you but to be able to stalk and then ambush your prey as a werewolf would make me feel like more of a badass then I already do while in beast form.

Yes, like the link pic.

Picture this:

Stalking a bandit camp, prowling the outskirts in wolf form-able to spot those inside due to an active wolf sense that picks up their scent.
Moving slowly into camp, your pace quickens as at the last moment you tactfully shift into your full werewolf form, tearing into the soft body of the first.

Sweet

Edit: of course the transformation sequence would have to be eliminated for this to work. Perhaps do an auto-transform from wolf to full werewolf in mid-leap, much like a "kill-cam" move. Just a thought

The " wolfman " look was the original werewolf which is badass looking and then there's the shape shifter werewolf that looks just like a wolf but personally I prefer the way they look now. The whole Underworld / Werewolf in Paris look seems to fit the bill perfectly ( IMO ) even though both those movies weren't very good they did do a fantastic job on the appearance of the werewolf. But I like your stalking then transforming idea, kind of like what was done in Underworld where your human until you decide to make your attack then as you rush them or pounce on them you transform. But the transformation is supposed to be a very painful experience with all your bones changing, muscles being repositioned etc...etc.. Perhaps with an " Alpha " werewolf you would be able to change more quickly and with less pain involved, this could have been an option that was included with the perk tree. Once you have mastered 3/4 of the perk tree there's on last perk to pick and that perk being an " Alpha " werewolf with the faster transformation along with the ability to sneak and infect others.

If you play on PC I would recommend the http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12687 My brother tried this mod and it adds a fair bit to the werewolf along with other nice tweaks to your beast form.

I like the idea about perk-transformation speed.

And no, sadly I play on PS3. I could play on PC but with my current arrangement I don't like gaming on it anymore. Too uncomfortable sitting in front of my HDTV playing for hours on end when I can lay in bed and play on the PS3.

From what I did see of it, it looks like a pretty decent mod. There's an Alpha werewolf ( or pure werewolf ) that allows you to turn your followers whom in turn will change every time you change so if you have a mod that allows you to take more then one follower you can have a small pack going. When the brother's PC was working right I watched him play with 4 companions all turned into werewolves, add Dawngaurd on top of that for the twin spectral werewolves and your " pack " becomes a force to reckon with :drag:

Other than Crinos (Full on werewolf form) it would be cool to be able to go Glabro (the wolfman form) and Hispo ( the direwolf form) yeah I played WTA a long time ago my avatar is Grimfang from the card game Rage it focused on the War of Rage from WTA. If my PC didn't svck and I knew how to MOD I would try to make a MOD for it.

WoD fans eh? Just so you know skyrim would be overun with Get of Fenris and Tzimice if this was a WoD game.. though my personal money would be on the death or glory werewolves raiding a certain castle and dragging every last vampire out to fry in the sun. lol. mmm good times. Hard to find a decent table top game any more. I'm over thirty nowand all the kids with dice look at me kinda funny

Considering the strong Norse emphasis with the Nords and their culture, I'm surprised we haven't seen any wolves labeled as Fenrirs or a werewolf sporting the name.

Tzimisce were my FAVORITE vampire clan, besides Gangrel.. As for the werewolves I was partial to either Glasswalkers or Stargazers.

I think, however, that Mage was my favorite. There was so much you could do with your spheres as long as you could justify the way your magic was used. Wow... tons of memories come flooding back concerning this gaming world.. almost makes me want to play Bloodlines again

Bloodlines.. a failed game soo adictive that you find yourself reinstalling it every time some one mentions it... I personaly blame Janette.. who wouldn't want to crawl into that Malk's skin? :D My fav clan was Brujah. super fast + uber strong AND a berserker temper? <3 SOLD! For Mage, it was the Cult of Ecstacy or Hermetics.. because who doesn't adore a magic smoking utensil or a pension for fireballs?!
Vampires in WoD when faced with a Werewolf did the sensible thing. They ran like hell or called in as many friends as they could and all the silver available to take it down.

back on topic, i still vote for MORE KILL CAMS! thats right, i want more brutal bloody show cases of my werewolf's power and savagery. perhaps even assassination animations if the sneak ability gets added!
