Wulf, the aspect of Talos in Morrowind, mentions the Empire possibly coming to an end.

That said, Tiber Septim the man would probably side with the Imperials.

That's my take on it.

Stormcloak racists and xenophobes on one side and religious persecution under the Imperials. I think he'd use both sides to his advantage and birth an empire of his own. That's really what he did in the first place among rival factions.

Tiber Septim would be on the side of Tiber Septim. He'd reprimand the Empire and the Stormcloaks for their stupid little war then he'd declare war single-handedly on the Aldmeri Dominion and proceed to wipe them out.

THAT is how we take care of business properly, and that's what Dovahkiin should do.

Both, the Imperials and Ulfric would both swear allegiance to Tiber Septim. T

That's what I think. I kind of wish you could use the title of Dragon-born in Skyrim to trick others into thinking you're Tiber Septim reborn, stand up during the truce conference, say "I'm tired of your [censored]," and proceed to whip both General Tullius and Ulfric up and down the room with the tip of your shoe.

They'd both have a reason to be loyal to Tiber Septim, so.

Tiber Septim would have enough brains to unite under the Empire and then attack the Dominion.

First he would take the Empire and spank them. And then take the Stormcloaks and spank them. And then he would make them shut up and attack the Aldmeri Dominion that dare threaten his existence.

Stormcloaks, hands down.

He was a nord, and he kicked butt and chewed bubble gum when it came to the Mer.

The Arcturian Heresy states that Tiber Septim was a Breton. Even if you don't believe that, there are Nords in the Empire (and it was founded by a Nord as well, according to the official version of Tiber Septim's rise), so pointing to Septim's race and basing his loyalty on that doesn't work.

Also, the Stormcloaks are seceding from HIS empire.

When Tiber Septim died didn't he become the God known as Talos? The name comes from when he fought as General Talos to unify Cryodiil. I'm guessing he would fight alongside the Stormcloaks.

However, this belief isn't completely confirmed and it's an arguable debate.

Talos the god=/=Tiber Septim

Talos the god is the combination of Hjalti Early-beard, Wulfharth,Zurin Arctus and several others.

So we can't base the decision of Talos the god by Tiber Septim the man.

Not even a question. The Imperials + The Aldmeri Dominion are banning Talos (Tiber Septim) worship. While the Stormcloaks are fighting to keep it alive.

I would ascribe to this ^
The Empire isn't what it was in Oblivion. I get the feeling that people who shouldn't have power are now in power, and they need to have the crap kicked out of them before they can begin to straighten back out. That's old school, and that's the Nord way. The Stormcloak aren't a bunch of angels, but in this case and at this moment I would say that they are in the right and Talos (Tiber Septim) would back them up.

Stormcloaks, because
1. the Imperials (Aldmeri Dominion if you want to be exact) banned the worship of him.
2. He is a Nord

Not true, Divines can still manifest through avatars, and he's divine, if you're denying Tiber ascension then you may as well deny Auri-El ascension to godhood.

The Empire. Because he founded it, and wouldn't want it to crumble.
Tiber Septim is definitely not my favorite historical figure, but he'd probably unite Tamriel, and not tear apart the Empire, which would be the opposite of everything he has fought for in his life.

Did you play Morrowind?

The avatar of Tiber Septim appears to the Nerevarine.

Well, not Tiber, technically he's only a part of Talos only Talos as whole can manifest as avatar.

This.
Though, I'm pretty sure Wulf was the aspect of Septim, or the part of Talos that was Septim.

The dude tells you himself that the Empire's days are numbered in Morrowind. Having said that, I somehow doubt he'd be willing to sign on with them...
