Yagrum Bagarn the last Dwemer

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 3:25 am

Wouldn't it be cool if you met this Dwemer during your travels in Skyrim? Maybe Yagrum's search has sent him to Skyrim, still searching aimlessly for his lost people? :cryvaultboy:

He's probably dead (and most likely still where he was in Morrowind, how could he possibly travel in his condition!? Did Divayth Fyr save him?) but it would be cool if we got to meet him in Skryim, with his mechanical legs and everything :)

Is he even alive? Altough his Corprius disease makes him immortal doesn't it?

If Divayth Fyr is still alive, it's possible he could have saved him.

Would be a cool easter egg. Maybe as a random summon to fight dragons! :chaos:

Depends if he got out when Red Mountain exploded. As people said, if Divayth Fyr got out he might have been able to get his prized patient out too.

It would be nice. I really liked discovering him in Morrowind. I had always heard from everyone on the forum that the Dwemer were completely gone. It was a real surprise.

and, btw, mer are known to live long lives, so maybe he is still alive, but i dont think there is much lore behind dwemer's life length

It would be very cool.

Almost a year ago a poster put an idea on a thread related to this that I still find intriguing.

Divayth is a big awesome wizard.
So at or just before red year, when Baar Dau fell, he would have just levitated his entire island, tower and all, to safety.

It would be very, very awesome to have in Skyrim a floating island in the sky that travels from city to city and can only be accessed by arcane means.
Cranky cold mudcrabs and all, cant you just see it? trailing roots through the air as it goes from Whiterun to Winterhold.

Something for a mod, Id think.

Very true it would be awesome and Divayth Fyr is also another interesting character and I would love to see both again.

I doubt it....he would have just teleported himself and his daughters out when the mountain went, thats if he had the time.

Im sure it could be written into the lore.

I forgot the specifics, but couldn't he have used the potion he gave to the Nerevarine to Yagrum? And thus made him immortal. He'd still be a big blob of tumours... But yeah.

If Yagrum was with Divayth Fyr, he was in safe hands.

Not sure why Fyr would choose to re-locate to Skyrim though. Telvanni still have their territory.

It didn't cure Corprus, it just happen to have had an obscure effect on the Nerevarine which only gave him the plus sides of having it. Or so I remember anyways. About time for another play through.

Divayth?
Older than two empires and era's, older than and survivor of the Triune?
He wouldnt abandon his friends. Yagrum is safe if Divayth is.

See my post above.
It is more likely (and fun) if he levitated his entire island to safety.

No, the "cure" killed anyone who drank it.

Nereverine was kept alive by prophecy and magic,

Great idea and a powerful wizard like Fyr could definately do it.

It would be great to see a floating Telvenni tower I loved those things maybe he could bring over some Telvenni influence but it would be a long shot.

No, the cure took away the side effects of the corprus.
The main effects of never ageing and being immune to disease stayed, you just didnt get the downside of turning into a corprus stalker.
It killed everyone Divayth tried it on except the Nerevarine.. because he was the Nerevarine?
I blame Azura.

I'm not sure if "blame" is the right word to use. :P
