17 Year Old Going To Midnight Release

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 10:59 am

Just resist arrest. If you're not a high enough level then just go to jail and pick the locks.

If they do catch you, just calmly and politely tell the officer that you will not be taken alive, and book it as fast as you can outta there.
No. Just no. The correct phrase is "I'M FASTER THAN YOU! TRY 'N CATCH ME!" followed by riding the bike through the hallways.

You can probably pass off as 18 very easily.
Until they ask for an ID lol.

This is what identification prevents kind sir. :sadvaultboy:

Normally curfews are enforced when you are stopped by police for doing something you shouldn't be (other than breaking curfew). If you were pulled over on the way home you might hear about it from the officer involved... or he might just not care because curfew enforcement isn't at the top of the list for police.

I've been waiting for TES:V since the day Oblivion came out, and I've decided to go to the midnight release for it at my local gamestop.

This is my first midnight release, but I have a problem. Curfew here is 11pm for those who are under 18. I happen to be 17, old enough to purchase Skyrim, but not old enough to meet to have no curfew.

If I am just outside gamestop with other people, or inside(I don't know how these work, are you in our outside the store?), can I get in trouble with the law?

I'm nervous. :obliviongate:

I think you'll be ok. I think I went to midnight launches when I was 17.. I don't think they strictly enforce curfew. It's not like you're walking around by yourself in the middle of a parking lot.. There are other people there too. You'll be ok.

If there are a lot of people, the line will be outside.. But I've been to a few and they let you wait inside and they have had pizza and stuff. I'm guessing there won't be a huge line.. This game doesn't (at least I think) have a huge fan base like MW3. (plus it's cold, so you could wait in your car)

You'll be fine. Cops probably won't bother to check IDs when they can clearly see the business is having a special function.

Yes, the police will bag you and haul you off to a prison that doesn't officially exist and you will never be heard from again.

Please, me and my friends would drink in parks until like 3 am and the most the cops did was take away our alcohol and tell us to go home. Unless you're living under some type of dystopian dictatorship, you'll be fine

You can be out of your house past curfew as long as you aren't wondering the streets or loitering or something.

Gamestop usually lets people in the store by 11. You'll be fine, no problem.

It's a public event. You don't have to worry about it.

No you'll be fine dude. Since it's considered an event, nothing can go wrong. And plus you will see a ton of other people waiting in line at the event so it's not like your [censored] around with neighborhood cats or somthing. They can't hold anything against you.. I'm 15 and go alone all the time, about 7 midnight releases and noone cares there not gonna call the cops on a bunch of curfew breakers.

I went to the CoD: Black Ops midnight release when I was 17 and never got any weird looks or anything like that, you will be fine.

But bring the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal if you are really worried... :whistling:

Mandatory curfew? What part of 1930s Germany do you live in?

I'm 17 as well and went to the MW3 midnight release. There wasn't even any cops any where out there anyways so you should be good. Just hope you don't get pulled over ;)

Curfew doesn't apply on private property, only public. Sheesh, I thought all teenagers knew this. Or it might just be like that for where I live...
