The History Channel isn't completely terrible. Where else would I learn about the possibility of aliens visiting ancient societies???

Oh yes that show is so informative: "I don't know... SO ALIENS."

I've always wanted to meet Slash so that I could punch him in the face, does he count as a metaphysical object?

how about the mis use of the word irony

its just down right blashphamous how most people use it for every thing that is coincidental.
"I feel a happy and its raining, that's ironic."

When i heard that one day while walking down the street I wanted to immediately pick up a passing German Shepard and throw it at that woman's face. :flame:

I think his hat does.

Barring political concepts (as they are taboo on this board), I'd want to punch in the face
-G4 (for replacing almost all their geeky programming with COPS - who could blame DirecTV for junking the channel after that?)
-The modern American music industry (for forcing mindless junk on us while ignoring real talent in music)
-The trend of girls favoring rich athletic jerks over nice geeky guys as boyfriends
-The close-minded hatred and bigotry against video games and progressive rock music

Slapping is too femine and weak, so I'll punch.

With that I will punch: Computers, law, human rights, telephones, cyber space, and vegetables and other things that are "good" for you but don't taste good.

-The modern American music industry (for forcing mindless junk on us while ignoring real talent in music)
-The trend of girls favoring rich athletic jerks over nice geeky guys as boyfriends
-The close-minded hatred and bigotry against video games and progressive rock music
- This as well, but it is easier to mass produce [censored] rather than finding really talented people.
- That's how its been since the dawn of anything, the smart guy just has to topple the muscle guy.
- There's hatred for gamers? I'll need to go outside and see if this is true

In general, DLC isn't a BAD thing. Look at things like The Shivering Isles. They can add awesome things there just weren't time to add to the base game. However, it's the companies who think it's a good idea to lock content on the disc and make you pay two or three dollars to unlock it. (I'm looking at you Volition :stare: )

Yeah, DLC killed the expansion pack and got away with it, so it's time for some vigilante justice :stare:

Fate

Course I want to do more than slap that detestable creature in the face. svcks to know what the word "Death" means when you're 3 years old losing a relative in front of you when you're a child.

Expansion packs have existed for over a decade, which is pretty much what Shivering Isles is. It's DLC in that you can download it, but it's not the norm for DLC.

My problem with DLC is how companies now sell you stuff that used to be unlocked in-game. It's much more rewarding to clear a hard challenge and unlock something cool, than pull out your credit card and pay for it.

Gabe Newell though I'd rather kick him in the balls than slap him.

Same goes for Tony Blair.
