I have loved the dark brotherhood since morrowind, but I see how it would depend on your personal beliefs if you like them or not.

The only problem with it, like all the other guilds, it was too short

On the contrary I consider the Dark Brotherhood to be the only worthy faction in the game. They give good rewards, actually treat you with the respect you are accorded when you are their leader (unlike the other factions) and you get expendable minions.

I didn't dislike it per say but the fact that I had to kill NPCs in an already low population world, I only did the DB maybe 3 times, on the main characters I play I didn't do it because we have few enough NPCs as it is without thinning the herd.

I don't like them as well.

Because they're mean, and crazy.. And borderline serial killers. Or outright serial killers.

The only thing I like about the DB are the Shadowscales.

I loved Oblivion DB, its felt like I was apart of a family which made the twist have more emotional impact on myself, and it felt like I was part of something bigger then a group of assassins. Skyrim DB is the best guild in Skyrim, but I don't like it as much as Oblivions DB instead of being a group of assassins working as agents of Siths it felt more like paid work, and when they I do like how at the end it does become more like the Oblivions with a lister, and the nightmother its just not the DB I was expecting.

But the Dark Brotherhood was barely in Morrowind, they tried to kill you and thats pretty much it

Although the Thieves Guild is my favorite faction in Skyrim, I enjoyed the DB as well.

But I find the Oblivion DB questline to be better than Skyrim's.
They had some pretty cool quests/moments and I loved Cicero but then, in the other hand, some other quests were atrocious...the marriage one had lots of potential and it felt flat on its face.

I thought The Dark Brotherhood was great, all of the quest lines were. But none of them were as good as Oblivion's.
