When you get to the Sanctuary and meet everyone, you really get a feel for the personality of each character. I loved the throwbacks to Oblivion when you get Lucien and his "old and dear friend", Shadowmere. Summoning Lucien grants for some interesting dialogue and he'll comment on certain brotherhood quests - he'll offer input on Cicero, for example. Cicero is my favourite character in Skyrim simply because he's so wild. I hope everyone read his journals (not just Final Volume)! Might change your opinion of him as I know there are a lot of Cicero haters out there

Furthermore, people seem to be complaining that there's nothing to do once you've completed the questline and it should be added to. I agree and think it would be good if more initiates joined and then went from simply 'initiate' to a named character, so that the Brotherhood would feel alive again. However, are we forgetting that this was the same with Oblivion? When you became Listener then, you weren't able to complete more assassinations, you just listened to the Night Mother, yet in Skyrim you at least get to complete some more quests for some quick cash!
Oblivion's Brotherhood was fantastic, I'm not disputing that at all. Granted some people will prefer it, however I'm just shocked at the number of people who've said they "hate" it in Skyrim and call it "s***" etc...so what is it that makes it apparently so much better in Oblivion and so bad now?
