People are not angry that he got it early. People are angry that he got it and then came on the forums and complained about bugs before an official release.

"Hate" is such a strong word. Personally, I'm experiencing "Envy"... that aside, Skyrim arrives tomorrow but I won't be playing it until Sunday evening. Friday is a celebration of Skyrim at my mates house, with plenty of beer and lotsa nosh :celebration:

Meh. I'm a little jealous. But mainly because I also ordered the guide. I'm getting on PC so couldn't install either way, but would have had a sneak peak at the character creation part of the guide.

I don't hate them. I expect it to happen. I'm in the Mountain Time Zone (GMT-7), so I'm getting it after a majority of people anyway. (Still beat out the West Coast though)

I'm more than happy for the players but the retailers who broke streetdate need to be held accountable and/or Bethesda needs to get their distribution in order.

I generally think that the entire streetdate/embargo stuff is crap that never works anyways but when you have major retailers outright announcing that they are official breaking the streetdate (Gamestop) then the publishers either need to do something about that or do-away with this whole mess that only hurts the players.

I'm going to take a wild guess that ZeniMax/Bethesda isn't going to do a damn thing about it though.

I don't hate people getting it early, I hate when they come on here and complain about stuff and the game's not even officially out yet. Until midnight tonight, Bethesda reserves the right to announce another patch or have the opportunity to find and fix these issues, because the game isn't technically out yet.

*shrugs*

The game is officially out depending on your time zone, they've staggered the midnight release across EACH time zone.

I was very jealous yesterday, and now I've got it today, I feel horrible. Before there were loads of people boasting about it yesterday but I feel terrible for having it on Thursday not Friday, even if it's only a few hours before midnight release. It was amazon too; not one of my local shops.

I've gotten a game or 2 early due to time portals in the postal system.Why hate when you might get lucky next time?Tomarrow afternoon a big Fedx truck will be coming up the drive(as long as it don't rain)and I will not care that they got the game early,cause I will have mine. :celebration:

Those that hate People that get Games early are jealous little children. Personally, those that get it early and report all the bugs on here do us a favor that didn't get the Game early because by the time we all get it they might have created a Patch to fix all those Addressed Issues.

Honestly its not their "fault" so I don't hate them at all. I DO dislike that people get to play early, although its not a big deal, I'm just a rules type that believes if some get it early then just release it. If companies have it they shoud be able to release it, Steam should release it. Once its out for some the concept of waiting till midnight is a waste. Kudos to the lucky ones playing though.

But I am angry at Steam and Bethesda for messing up the release date for asia. For some strange reason, we have to wait on the midnight of 12/11/11, while they let the aussies and kiwis get the game a few hours ago.

I hate the ones that pirate the game, but I think everyone hates them. As long as they paid for it though I feel happy for the ones that got it early.

I've just seen a thread about a guy getting Skyrim early, he was reporting major bugs. And he just got a load of hate for it, why? I've gotten my past 2 games a day early (Gears3 and BF3), and i didnt get any hate from there forumn members. I was expecting Skyrim today, but i didn't, if i got it today and posted about a bug of here, would i get as much hate as this other guy did?

Whats so criminal that he got it a day early? Not exactly his fault seeing as it's upto the company he pre-ordered from to send it out to him. I'm just really confused about this.

Don't care if anyone gets it early. It's my $ and time, and it's not MP, so it's irrelevant to me. Now if it was a MW3 type, I might feel differently for sure.
