A few times recently I've been out in the real world, and I've suddenly had a Skyrim moment. Like the time I was walking in the woods and happened upon a fallen tree with fungus growing from it, and for a split second I thought about harvesting the fungus to see what potion I could make! Or the other day, walking in the Yorkshire Dales, rocks everywhere, some of which looked like they might have an Ore vein running through it, I wanted to get a pickaxe out.

Does this game spill into your real life as well?

We were driving through the yorkshire dales, and it was on the side of a sheer mountain. There was snow everywere. And I thought, this is so skyrim! :biggrin:

I looked at the winding roads down below and thought of the skyrim map, lol.

...when you go to the kitchen to scrounge up a midnight snack and have to stop and turn on all the lights on your way because otherwise the Falmer will get the drop on you.

(True story. Finished raiding my first Falmer dungeon one night, then shut the game down and went to get some food. ...Then belatedly realized that I was turning all the lights on in the house and why. Whoops. :blush:
