Do you still watch "kid" shows?

I don't know if a guy named "Werewolf&Vampire" should be making any snide comments about pop culture :whistling:

Not much really given how rarely I watch T.V. these days but MLP:FIM comes to mind for recent shows. That said I'm also hoping to say the same for the next Avatar Series the Legend of Korra. I do wonder however how it will hold up towards the first.
I wish Nick would give a solid release date! I saw a commercial for it recently, and it only makes me more angry that it's not here yet!

I almost exclusively watch cartoons and anime when it's on TV. Discovery channel has NOTHING about learning anymore, and it was the only good channel. Now it's reality TV as far as they can see for as long as can be imagined. More and more inane shows showing inane stuff about inane jobs and inane people doing inane things I don't give a [censored] about. Seriously, if I can't give a rats ass about myself doing these things what makes you think I want to watch someone else? Huh!? The only decent shows on are cartoons. Or an occasional not crap show that isn't reality. Also I only watch good high quality kids shows, not everything under the sun. I don't really watch much TV at all anymore. If I do it's on my PC. Cartoons are usually on the TV since they're so accessible there.

If you mean kid's shows of this generation then I do indulge in terrifying amounts of Adventure Time when my backlog piles up, but I do re-watch cartoons from my own generation from time to time.

That is the plan.

Nor should a hobbit with a pony avatar be making any snide comments about a guy who enjoys "Folklore." ;)

Oh, you mean many centuries ago? Pretty much. Though things were less romantic back then.

Another show on in my childhood that I never liked was Rocko's Modern Life, probably for different reasons.
I loved that show.

I miss me some Rocket Power, Hey Arnold, Angry Beavers, Kablam, Ahhh Real Monsters, Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Dexter's Lab, Cow and Chicken, Johnny Bravo, etc. There's a ton more but I can't remember them all.

I always thought Hey Arnold was boring, but since it's character-driven I'd probably appreciate it now that I'm not looking for lolrandom humor in my shows.

Thought the same about Doug.

I watch the Clone Wars sometimes. Actually pretty gory for a kids show.

Up into my mid-20's I'd still watch stuff like The Flintstones now and then, if they were on. I never did watch that many to begin with. But these days, no. It's less about me being an advlt and more that I've seen them all so many times I have no desire to watch them yet again. :) About the only thing I'd still pause to watch if I surfed by it are the original Warner Brother's cartoons - Bugs Bunny, Road Runner, etc. Especially if they're full-length. Bothers me that they truncate them so badly these days. I swear they're chopped in half sometimes. I assume because they want to play more commercials.

I still watch "Little Rascals" and "Howdy Doody".

EDIT : They didn't have shows when I was a kid. Well, TV shows anyway.

I don't go out of my way to watch them, if there is nothing on normal channels then I look at the kids section to see if there is any nostalgia inducing cartoons on.
Most notable one recently was Rugrats
Fairly Odd Parents
Pokemon (Still trying to find the original series)
I can mind seeing Digimon on once.
I miss Dexter's Laboratory - that had to be one of my favourites when I was growing up and when I was at my grans

- Watched MLP twice, maybe 3 times, but it's not something I'd do unless I was really bored and had nothing else to watch or do.

I watch reruns of older kids shows all the time, and then a few newer ones like Adventure Time.

I love animated films by companies like Pixar if you consider those for children. I consider them to be films for advlts as well though, if you look at the film UP the story and message within is directed at advlts especially

I watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic quite obviously (and yes mentioning the whole title is needed to set it aside from the pre G4 stuff :P) but I also greatly enjoy and fact own Avatar: The Last Airbender. There isn't too much else that I watch in terms of western cartoons but I enjoy watching tidbits from other shows as well from time to time.

I loved Avatar as a kid, I watched every single episode. I believe there making a new spinoff of Avatar. Legend of K-something.

Edit. Legend of Korra.

I don't watch much western animation anymore, mostly live action shows now, but I watch a lot of western animation when you compare to the fact that I watch hardly any anime.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic of course.

I don't watch alot on cartoons on the tele, but I do sometimes watch those old good cartoons, or the new better ones when there's nothing else to watch.
