Your favorite super hero?

I can't say I agree with you on the Superman or Robin thing. Yeah, I get it with Green Arrow. He witnesses both his parents get mauled by a bear and a mountain lion or something at the same time and he decides...'Yeah..I'm gonna be a superhero...' I don't particularly like the Green Arrow.

Nightwing is a badass, but Robin just makes Batman look like a pedo.

You don't remember he got his ass kicked(with arm broken in the process) by Bruce Lee right? ;p

But it's ok because Squirrel Girl would piss herself if Galatis came about, whereas boneheaded every so stubborn Wolverine tried to fight him one on one.

I like superman WHEN HE'S ALONE IN HIS OWN UNIVERSE! I like his constant struggle as a god among men. But i alway end up hating it when he starts mixing with the other superheros like the justice ledge... god i hated it so much... Its only then when supermans op starts pissing me off.

squirrl girl should kick supermans ass

Bruce Wayne, AKA Batman. Especially if Kevin Conroy is the voice of Bruce.

LOLWUT?

No, I can't take that character seriously either. I mean, how does that even work? How does one, weld a dead dog to someone. I just...makes no sense.

Yeah. More than any other scene in that stupid mess, that's the one scene in the third X-Men movie that really jumped the shark for me.

I'd agree, Magneto is awesome as a character. His is an example of the Holocaust origin story done right. You can almost see his point of view, and in the first X-Men movie the only thing wrong with his plan was that it was going to kill all the non-mutants. Otherwise it's suprisingly egalitarian. It helps that he's been portrayed by Ian McKellen and the Assbender himself, both extremely good actors. When Professor X uses the "they are just following orders" line on him in First Class, his response sent a chill down my spine in the middle of a summer action movie: "never again".

Also, I would watch a whole TV series that's just "Magneto: Nazi Hunter".

Superman.

I don't care if he's no longer popular, considered too op'd/predictable and uncool. He's an alien powered by the sun and when he's duking it out with other supervillains or wondering about his "humanity," he's still my favorite. All this super-angsty, vulnerable superhero business these days....bah.

Edit: maybe I should clarify - Batman is cool, Ironman is cool, they make good stories/movies etc. But to me they're just intelligent/creative/driven inventors/vigilante/human justice characters. There's nothing "super" about them. They're more idealized versions of Rambo. Doesn't mean I don't like those characters/stories...just a little tired of the angst. To me a "superhero" should be larger than human life. Something bigger and more powerful than a Rambo with cooler toys.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mystique_%28comics%29 I would do better than just throw a Wiki page at you, but I don't remember enough to make a coherent summary myself. Suffice to say that her character is totally different in the comics (I don't think she ever worked with Magneto, actually).

Actually she had a child with him at one point. Can't remember if that was a different universe or not though. Edit: Sorry though you were talking about Rogue.

Agreed, but I thought Diedrich Bader did a terrific job in Brave and the bold. I think he should be considered as a VA for Batman in future projects If Conroy is indeed finished.

I read the comic purly because of the stupid title, but i actually grew to like dogwelder. Its more about a psychotic hobo trying to be a hero then an actual hero. Hes a mixture of punisher and the joker. You gota read one of the comics to know what im talking about but i promise you can do alot worst then dogwelder... like Aqua Man >.>

I'm actually completely on Magneto's side. Everything he says is right.

I got Ultimate X-Men 1-12 last night, it's pretty good so far.

This would be perfectly sensible in most cases, but not sure how Madam Fatal even counts as a superpower. With Batman, he's just an ultra smart guy who has a giant vendetta. With Madam Fatal, he just dresses like an elderly woman and fights crime. Kind of hilarious and cool, but also strange. This character comes from the 1940s... Yeah, not even close to the Silver Age and there was still lunacy going on when making up this stuff.

There's also US. 1 if we want to speak of him. He was based on a toy, but still doesn't make up for how he was basically just a trucker who would have gotten laughs out of even my dad who has done trucker stuff throughout his life. US. 1 gets some form of Spidey senses that involve semi-trucks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnJEeHND_lQ Only thing that can be said about him that makes sense is the Convoy theme song.

Guess my favorite was always Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) for DC. Marvel would probably be Spidey.

Deadpool and Spidey.

Two of the most epic superheros ever.

I like Spiderman, but the main reason I liked Spiderman was because of Venom and Carnage, they are the best villians. I think Spiderman is the most epic when he has the symbiote.
