Whenever I lock a door, I try to open it just to make sure if I really locked it.

Every time I take shower or go to the bathroom I always check behind the shower curtains to make sure there isn't any serial killers hiding there. I also lick my front teeth when I get nervous.

I do this. But I try like three or four times, just to make extra extra sure.

The cup holder in my vehicle has to always be extended when I'm driving. It's one of the fold-out ones, people always push it in and it really bothers me. It needs to be out! And I don't use the slot closest to me, it has to be the one on the other side.

I have to have the spoon in my cup when I drink hot drinks like tea or coffee.

This. I do it with fridge doors, car doors, house doors, anything really.

If I'm listening to music I find it hard not to play along on assorted air instruments.

Don't mean to brag, but I'm pretty good on air drums myself.

I have OCD, so I do some weird things. Like I have to stop the microwave with 2 seconds remaining. All of my scripts when modding need to be perfectly formatted and indented, certain things need to be capitalised while certain things don't (despite the fact Papyrus and ObScript are case insensitive), when playing games I need to check and loot every single container, every single corpse and explore every inch of a dungeon I'm in. If I walk into a room in one of Bethesda's games, like a shop, and I accidentally nudge a piece of armour on the shelf a little bit to the left, or I kick a bin and it rolls away, then I have to reload the auto save from when I entered. I do this in dungeons too, which can mean losing a lot of progress if I accidentally kick that skull that's on the floor.

So..yeah.

I do that all the freaking time. I'm too paranoid and I'm always wondering what would happen if one just so happened to be there one day. Probably get stabbed in the face. :/

Why? That's the weirdest think I've ever heard! Whenever I play I purposefully move things to my liking, sometimes just for a 'creepier' effect.

I bite my nails. I always seem to be banging my fingers against things (anything nearby) to make a tune which annoys people to no end. I should probably try to stop that. I also shake my knee up and down all the time when I'm sitting down.

I do this with the car. Y'know, in case the indicator flash and the little locking noise isn't enough to tell :D If I don't test it, as soon as I am a certain distance [= too far to turn back] from the car I'll be thinking "did I lock the car??"

I bite my nails.
I'm a bit of a nail biter, but not as much as I used to be. However.. I have a really bad habit of biting or scratching the skin around my thumbnail, mostly when I'm (dis)stressed or anxious or something. So if I have "red" thumbs, I'm probably not in a good state. xD

I "talk" to myself inside my head. I plan things, imagine things, pretty much do all the thinking as some sort of mental debates. I also refer to myself as "we" in these "discussions".

I constantly scratch the skin off my thumbs.. Don't know why, but it started when I quit knuckle cracking all the time. My thumbs are in very, very bad shape and bleed often.

I play a mean air sax.. can we start an air band?

We'll call ourselves the airheads

We can bring out cd's with the soothing sound of rushing wind.

Which I'm a past master at after a bowl of five alarm chili :hehe:

Besides the regular monologues and soliloquies in crazy voices when I'm alone, not much.

I sometimes like to purposefully overestimate the time. You know, if it's 6pm I'll say "well damn it's 8pm I better get some work done", that sort of thing. That way when it's 7pm I'll be "surprised" that I have all this extra time. :P

Same here, sometimes we worry about it, though.

When I walk into my kitchen I never step on the door sill. While there is nothing bad there, it always feels like there are upside down spikes or something that would go thru the foot.

I also have some obsessive compulsive behavior when it comes to cutting my nails, I cut them several times a week and keep them very very short. If I'm somehow away and unable to cut my nails for 3-4 days I start to get very annoyed at my "long" nails.

I once lived in a house that had actual spikes that went through your foot. They were on the edge where the carpet meets tile/wood floor. I don't think they were supposed to be there, but I was always careful not to test it after that one time.

Not bite your fingernails.

Think I'll pick up this quirk. It would be nice to have a little extra time in the day.

Some of our carpet grippers have rather long "teeth" so I do often impale my feet when standing on the door things. Not enough to draw blood, but enough to make me think of sweary words.

I also tend to be the same with my nails, I hate having even marginally long nails. Anything over 1mm annoys me. I'm probably lucky I don't have real problems with ingrowing nails as a result.

Back when I used to have a digital watch (they were actually popular once, around the time they first appeared in the 1850s) I had a bit of an "almost OCD" where I would have to watch the hour change. That went on for a while until I decided that no good was coming of it, so I managed to dig myself out of it. I have plenty of other obsessivy little things to keep me occupied anyway.
