Today, I broke the news to my girlfriend, family and friends. As well as my two beautiful dogs.

"Ask of me what you will, for today and tomorrow I shall answer thy bidding and do what must be done in this life. For come friday, I must declare sabbatical, as I answer thy holy calling, and that is Skyrim. No soul shall bother me, for my mind will be trapped, inescapable and emotionally invested to the great hero that I am. I shall climb steep mountains, and traverse treacherous valleys, all the while checking my buttocks out. I shall be master of swords and fist pump of holy retribution. Mud Crabs will fear me, Wolves will stay clear of me. For I am of Dragonborne."

They all looked at me like this.

Thanks for this thread - it has made me chuckle.

As for myself I'm one of the lucky ones - currently between jobs, single, and own no pets. So I'll have at least a few weeks to play with Skyrim whenever and for however long I feel like it. That's what I call freedom.

I am female, engaged to a non-gaming male (he just plays blasterball and word games) and he has been so understanding about Skyrim. He asked the other day, "So when is Skyrim coming out?" He understands.

I think I'll keep him.

What has Valhalla got to do with dragons and Skyrim? Absolutely nothing. Read up on Nordic mythology and you will find second to no dragon whatsoever.
