Achievement disappointment? : Fallout: New Vegas

To be honest I'm not playing the game for the achievements I could care less what they are, I think they're just fine. :tops:

I just hope none of them glitch(for both trophies and achievements).I doubt they will be but I would always like to be sure they won't.

Or you could always combat spec.
So that once you get the achievement for Guns you start using EW only until you get the next, then start using Unarmed until you get the next and continue on and grind and explore.
Cake-walk achievements.

This is what I plan on doing .I'll get them along the way.They'll be easy but probably time consuming if you keep waiting for it.

I usually get trophies for games for some extra replay value.I'll get them along the way of playing NV as they're pretty straightforward.

Wish they didnt seem so generic though. looks like they went and looked at 3 or 4 other games, and copy/pasted achievements and renamed them as quickly as possible.

I believe there was already an achievement like this one in Fallout 3

I don't care much about the achievements, I will be playing on PC after all, unless Steam adds achievement I am fine, I don't have lots of friends to show off it.

Hah, I drawed it myself. I have lots like this one, they are all simple funny stuff I draw on MSN while chatting with friends, they all laugh a lot when I do :laugh:

Now if you want to platinum (and I bet a ****load of people will) you have to play the game in different ways and combat techniques.

But personally, I don't give a f**k about achievements.

Well they aren't challenging.
They're achievements you will get.
They're not challenging if you're bound to get them.
Maybe he thinks it's challenging because it's 10K damage for each weapon class but to that I say: Go roleplay.
You will get them without even trying.

I doubt you can get any of those 10K Damage ones with any less then 4-5 playthroughs, Considering now that its not FO3 and you can't master every skill by lvl 30. :tops:

Either way your motivation to play the game shouldn't be fueled by the little pats on the back the game gives you for doing something, it should be the unique experience the game provides for you.

I expected that like the ones that required completing 50 speech challenges or unlocking 50 locks, that you actually have to get the 10K ones with a single character. It actually shouldn't be that hard for some of them... 10 points of damage per shot, only requires 1000 shots fired into enemies.... By the end of a single playthrough, unless you're avoiding combat, I'd think this will have been easily passed.
