All bow before my crafted weapon!

Post » Sun May 27, 2012 12:26 am

Well, I'm lvl 27. I made two glass swords: Churchill and Nancy Grace. Churchill has 44 base damage and 17 additional fire damage. Nancy Grace has 44 base damage and 10 points additional frost damage (she's older).

Churchill was created in a regular forge. There is a dwarven saying that one time in your life you will create the greatest work you are capable of creating. The struggle is to find meaning in your life thereafter, so as to not succumb to despair from knowing that nothing you forge henceforth will be as magnificent as that one great work. This is not that work. This is the work created directly after that once-in-a-lifetime-weapon. Ketchagon bought this, as it was the best option available when bartering with the nameless dwarf who had, only days before, sold his magnificent work to a nameless person. Ketchagon's quest to find the dwarf's magnificent weapon began immediately thereafter. He hopes that Churchill is satisfactory enough to enable him to slay any foes he encounters along his travels.

Nancy Grace was found encased in a glacier up near Winterhold. It was said that Ketchagon, the spellsword, found it, when he was wandering the northeast looking for Ice Wraith Teeth to craft invisibility spells the manly way, so as to further prepare to defeat the one who had bought the nameless dwarf's uncomparable weapon. One day, after breaking camp, Ketchagon heard a mournful dialogue whispering on the gale-force winds. He followed it, the voice growing louder the closer he got to the source, until he came upon an ethereal woman barking outlandish inane curses at the world. Ketchagon immediately slew the beast with his trusty Churchill, and marveled as the fire from Churchill had inadvertently melted the ice down, revealing a small cavity directly beneath where the ethereal woman-creature was moaning. There lied Nancy Grace.

I made a Bow of Souls that I use to kill things to fill up my soul gems to charge my swords.

These two swords will appease Ketchagon until the day he finds his strongest weapon yet.
lol i found Nancy Grace lying there XD

There are some sweet weapons on this thread!
which do you like best?

I made a glass bow and then sharpened it to max power , put lightning enchant on it and named it Ride The Lightning in honor of the Metallica album/song

Course... I wish it was a Daedric bow but NooOOOooOOO I screwed up -_-

If I didn't [censored] up my rogues smithing perks up the wrong side of the thing..... then I would have made 2 legendary daedric daggers with fire damage on them and call them "Relentless" and "Chaos" in honor of the Miss May I song

Probably still will when I re-roll my damn Rogue and do it right this time....

You can craft +130% smithing potions.

You CAN craft 147% smithing potions, making Daedric sword's up to 570-580 base damage +enchants.

Dark Moon, fell from the sky on the night of the new moon, they say that on the new moon, the fires of its blade can cut even the strings of fate. Its sister, Rising Crescent, was born on the summoning day of Nocturnal herself, and when they fight side-by-side, even the Aedra tremble in their lofty aeries.

Two Ebony War-Axes, and it's true, they can cut fate...once I hit an essential character, who promptly fell through the floor. Hello, reload.

That's really creepy. Not your weapon, but the fact I did something very similar and named my sword Stormbreaker.

At least it wasn'thttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPaOr9Z6Scg (G,D,RLH)

Icecutter. It's a glass dagger with a drop of Ice Wraith Essence and of course frost damage enchant. I imagined to have dripped it in while having a bottle in possession. It claimed 30+ assassinations as of now.

without exploiting the ench/blacksmithing I've only made 80% inc to both or w/e and used 50% pots I have found and I'm dual wielding maces right now at 301 damage each.

The background story to your weapon is really great. I might have to do that when I get the game.

Not as mega-enchanted as that, but my Legendary enchanted Daedric sword is known as Stormfang.

Stormfang was a dragon fang, forged with ebony and a bound daedra heart, containing the power of the storms themselves. It's the sword of the Dragonbane armour, a matching set of armour created from the fusing of Dragon and Daedric armour, each part giving it's wearer extra abilities with which to bring down Dragons.

It's not as insanely powerful as I could probably make if I got all my skills up and rocked out on potions...but it does the trick =P Most humans die in one shot.

Nice back story, I'll join in :P

Legendary Glass sword, normal dmg with 10sec soul trap and 47 fire dmg enchants.

Hunter's Talon, a Glass sword awarded to http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/631856881919168533/1BFD9206556A525712E4602B602F81D6D23125EA/ by Hircine. Hunter had completed the Bloodhunt by saving a vampire couple from the group of vampire hunters. Inscribed along the pommel 'Accomplish the hunt, My Avatar'. It is said that it traps the soul of any unfortunate and sears the wounds preventing the prey from bleeding out.

It doesn't look like two helmets, though. I've not seen any helmets that look like any part of that.

screw random things you find in chests, i prefer to make my own Legendary weapons. i just crafted Sky Shatter. it's a Daedric sword with 72 normal attack power and 43 shock damage enchant.

Lore: Sky Shatter was crafted at the Sky Forge during a powerful storm. it was used to deflect a bolt of lightning that would have killed Faendal. now electricity surges through this weapon. it's said that every time Sky Shatter is unsheathed lightning falls. even if it's a clear day.

any crafted weapons you're particulary proud of?

 on!

Edit: i'm proud of my Headsman's Axe with (enchantment elixir) soul trap & absorb health.... and i'm happy with my Rusty Mace (Nasty Molag Bal)

My soul trapping bow, but I think saying that name here would earn a ban. That one little feature, being able to name your enchanted items is great for immersion. I'm glad to see people like making stories for their items. That bow has a slightly dark history/purpose and the name represents that. Unfortunately I'm sure someone would find it offensive. It would be awesome if you could add a little tale in the description of the item, even a short one. =)

yes. after you've selected the soul gem, item and enchantment. it should ask you if you want to rename item in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.

So do you cast "Storm Call" every time you use your sword? :P
i wish lol. it takes way to long to recharge.

Imbued with the essence of ice wraiths, and strung with the hair of a wispmother, Bitterfrost will fire arrows of ice to chill it's target and consume it's soul.

A glass bow with a frost enchant and a 1 second soul steal. Named after one of my characters from City of Heroes. :P

i didn't notice this one last time. thats really good to.

kinda off topic but it makes my weapon atronger without going overboard. i found an increase one handed weapon damage enchantment. so now the base damage for my weapon is 141
