All bow before my crafted weapon!

Post » Sun May 27, 2012 12:11 am

screw random things you find in chests, i prefer to make my own Legendary weapons. i just crafted Sky Shatter. it's a Daedric sword with 72 normal attack power and 43 shock damage enchant.

Lore: Sky Shatter was crafted at the Sky Forge during a powerful storm. it was used to deflect a bolt of lightning that would have killed Faendal. now electricity surges through this weapon. it's said that every time Sky Shatter is unsheathed lightning falls. even if it's a clear day.

any crafted weapons you're particulary proud of?

i had a 5 damage enchant. then i got the destruction perk that gives 25 percent more damage for shock spells. then i got the 5 perks that make new enchants up to 100 percent stronger. and i got the perks that make fire, frost, and shock enchantments i think 20 or 25 percent stronger. and my enchanting and destruction skills are pretty high.

Yes it really is. Its good to make up a story for your gear, that way its not just a mundane shock bow but an item struck by lightning on the Skyforge. I have not made any gear yet worth note but I will and I will craft a worthy touch on the lore of the weapon/gear piece I make.

With 100 smithing, and the blacksmiths elixer, I have dual legendary glass war axes with fire dmg enchants. They are 75 dmg each.

Nice back story to that weapon. My previous character had a Dwarven sword called Chili Pepper for fire damage and a frost damage steel sword named Slurpee.

Nice back story, I'll join in :P

Legendary Glass sword, normal dmg with 10sec soul trap and 47 fire dmg enchants.

Hunter's Talon, a Glass sword awarded to http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/631856881919168533/1BFD9206556A525712E4602B602F81D6D23125EA/ by Hircine. Hunter had completed the Bloodhunt by saving a vampire couple from the group of vampire hunters. Inscribed along the pommel 'Accomplish the hunt, My Avatar'. It is said that it traps the soul of any unfortunate and sears the wounds preventing the prey from bleeding out.

Two daedric swords (legendary) that I crafted. 518 base damage (due to fortify one handed armour enchantments) each with +36 frost and +36 fire damage enchants. Called them penumbra and antumbra. Also have a daedric bow called umbra with ~540 damage, with two enchantments. You can guess my play style from my weapons names ha.

But I restarted because the game was to easy on master difficulty with these weapons

SPOILERS ABOUT AZURA QUEST FOLLOW

After I did the quest for Azura to get her reusable soul gem, I used it to enchant two daedric daggers in her honor, the Dawnspike and the Duskspike, with fire and frost enchants to represent the coming warmth of dawn and the coming cold of dusk.

Then I stabbed a lot of people.

Hmm, this is an interesting thing to do. But I usually don't make crafted weapons. I personally think it makes the game to easy. I just tend to use any loot I have found. I think it makes it more fun :gun:

The elixir can be bought at certain alchemy stores. The one I used was 50% better smithing for 30 secs

Just look at an alchemy guide online to find the ingredients you can combine to make smithing potions. I think sprigging sap is one, sabre cat something and blisterwort IIRC, one more as well.

Blisterwort, Glowing Mushroom, Sabre Cat Tooth, Spriggan Sap are the 4 ingredients.

But, the 130% Smithing Potion requires 100 in Alchemy.
