"Apply to be in the Dawnguard 360 Beta" #2

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 4:59 pm

Just signed up for this board in hopes of winning a slot on the beta. I think it's nice that folks without a quality pc will get a chance to test it.

We haven't started a selection process yet. It's something that we'll be working on next week, but keep in mind that next week is also very busy with E3.

... the buildup for next week.... you guys are gonna try and rock our socks off aren't you?

Or is this before E3 the big part?

There's a ton of folks that are going to be in LA for the event. Presentations, live shows, interviews, meetings, parties, hangovers. It's a crazy, exhausting week... but a ton of fun, too.

Do you have to be exactly 18 to apply? I will be 18 next January, so could Bethesda make an exception?

Considering that they asked for age before the questions, couldn't I just apply, and then if they really care about the testers being exactly 18 they just won't pick me?

I remember the posts on the forums and Pete Hines Twitter posts during E3 of last year, and it sure sounded exhausting!

Good luck @ E3!

Any update on when we should watch for any interviews @E3?

Just microsoft press conference in general or do you have specific times?

This looked interesting and I wanted to contribute to the testing, but hit the wrong thing in the app and I can't change it. So..I just gave up. I deleted all of my save files anyway. So I didn't have any characters that would be at5 a high enough level.

It definitely can be. On the first day last year, I was sick and had no voice. Worked out okay... I took a bunch of pictures of everything going on and headed back to the hotel to blog about.

I'll be putting together a schedule of planned live shows on the blog soon.

Probably US only...there are good reasons for it beeing US only but at the same time it seems kinda "unfair" if thats the right word.Lots of people around the world are paying&playing Bethesda games.

The beta is something new for us, so the first plan is to look at all the selections we receive. We'll go from there.

I heard that the press will get hands on with dawnguard at E3, is this true? Will it be like with Skyrim where you show a playthrough demo or will people actually be able to play it?

So no Dragon Shouts for you last year? D:

At least you will have a better first day (hopefully)

As for the blog, I will keep a close eye on it! Thanks!

Will we get an official E3 Discussion thread? or should we just continue our questions/speculations in the Dawnguard thread?

Quick! Everyone from International countrys get all your friends to enter! The only way you'll get a chance is by having an abundance of non-US entrys, from what i gather

I thought about going over to a friend who applied to this and owns an X-Box but then I realised I'm not a crab and as such, can't use those fancy controllers. Waiting an extra month till it comes to PC so I don't have to learn how to intentionally cripple myself by using 2 fingers out of 10. Good luck with the testing to the console folk though.

A official E3 thread would not just be about dawnguard :)
I think we should stick with the old dawnguard thread
