Are the stormcloaks similar to the Nazis?

They both talk funny. I think there is something to this.

Lol.

This kind of thread is exactly why the internet can be a bad thing.

OP: Read some history, understand what Nazism is and its socio-economic, political and cultural context. Preferably before you take a medieval-fantasy game and try and compare on the grounds of "they don't like some folks".

I think that the Stormcloaks are more like the Scotts fighting the English/British for their independence. To call them Nazis is a little extreme. They are patriots.

Both the NAZIs and the Stormcloaks are militant nationalist so yes they are similar. But just about every Nation have something similar so why pick 1930s Germany.

I raised this question before. It got locked.

But yes I do believe so because there are a vast number of similarities. Hitler started off as a would be hero, just like Ulfric, then he went mad.
P.sure Hitler was always mad/insane, dude.

Stormcloaks aren't going around culling non-Nords and putting them into death-camps. Hell, there are frigging Dunmer that live in Windhelm two feet from Ulfric's palace. Nazi's, they are not.

Most likely he wasn't. World War 1 might have been the reason why he was the person he was after the war.

Heh, wonder what kind of person he would be if he wasn't rejected by the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.

This has deteriorated into more af a discussion of Hitler than discussing the Stormcloaks. Not that it is surprising given the topic title.
